hi. i was just wondering if something was possible with chessmaster (or maybe another program). i want to learn from my own games, and now i'm focusing on my openings. ideally i would like to somehow compare the first X-number of moves from a large number of different games, to see which openings are used most frequently. this would help me a great deal. i'm hope i did a good job explaining what i mean. any help is much appreciated. thanks
almost... that seems to be a database of all openings others have played... i need a list like that, but compiled from a list of games only i played. think that's possible?
ah... ok so is there a way to create a database in chessmaster of games played outside of chessmaster... say online or even between friends? btw, thank you for knowing chessmaster inside-out
okay, thank you very much. the only problem i ran into was the fact i could not delete the games already in the database (containing the games of grandmasters, etc)... but i will fiddle around with it a little more. thank you for your help.
i know.. i wish they made it that easy... every time i create a new database, it automatically includes the default games in there.. but i will keep trying different stuff
hey, sorry to be coming up with all these questions, but is there a way to take online games vs other humans and import them into chessmaster so that they count for Player statistics? (Menu -Windows-Player Statistics)
