Hi everyone!

I just recently purchased the 10th edition and I LOVE it!

I am finding that I have a VERY big weakness when it comes to reaching Checkmate! I am able to play a strong, dominant game but I fall apart in the closing moments!

My question is this:
What is a good way to practice the closing moments of a game? I love the many resournces available in terms of "Openings" but there's nothing to help me finish opponents off!

Any suggestions??

Thanks in advance!!

There are drills and tutorials to help with this. Also, you can set up a position from a real game, and try to finish it out. Use the mentor if you need a hint on a tough position.

Are you sure that you are playing so strong and dominant? Smile Some people say that strenght of the player is shown in end-game! This is the time when your combinatory skills emerge mostly.
( more than theoretical skills )

Btw, I have that strange problem too. It's some kind of fear about making mistake in crucial moments.

Josh W.'s tutorial is very good. I suppose you tried it alredy.
