Yeah, I know the manual says that "laptops aren't officially supported", but it gives you the system requirements in terms of processors, video cards, minimum amount of RAM, minimum speed of CD/DVD ROM drive, and I figure there must be SOMEONE out there who has installed this beast on a laptop and gotten it to work. If so, what processor, video card, etc. are you set up with. Thanks, --Scott

Yes, I've had Chessmaster 10th Edition installed on my old laptop, and it worked wonderfully...
The system specifications were as follows: Pentium 4 2.4GHz 512 MB RAM ATI Mobility Radeon 7500, 32 MB Video memory. 8x DVD/CD-RW Drive Windows XP Professional, SP2 When I got my new laptop, it worked great, too... and it's running Windows Vista! One note: Make sure that the video card on your laptop is 3D compliant -- if not, you're out of luck. Hope this helps! |
