Load, load adjourned game. Simple. If it's a ranked game you can't resume it while in training mode. Make sure you choose the same mode as the adjourned game and then load it.

Hi cparker134: In the training mode, you can't officially adjourn but you can save the game (File>Save) then load it back again (File>Load) when you are ready to resume. A true adjournment takes place in the Ranked Play mode where you adjourn (Actions>Adjourn) and then resume (File>Load>Load Adjourned Rated Game) when you are ready. The Layout tab process as you describe it has nothing to do with adjourning a game in Ranked Play mode. Did I make any sense?

I doubt that you have a "bad copy" of CM10. In the ranked Play mode, on the top of the screen you have these menus from left to right: File, Edit, Game, Actions, Mentor, Preferences, Windows, Help. The first one, "File" offers 4 choices: Load, Save, Print and Quit. If you hold your mouse pointer on "Load", a popup window appears which says "Load Adjourned Rated Game". Clicking on it gives you the "Load Adjourned Game" window where you can select the adjourned game. If you cannot see the menus stated above then perhaps you have the DPI set incorrectly. Hope you can work it out now.
