dont know my video or sound card, but this game USED to run on this computer..all my devices are working properly..

have installed the 3 cd's and I get a black screen when i try to load the game..so then I disabled sound and turned of 3d .. still cant get it to load.. UGH..

Have you installed all the patches? You can find them in the Chessmaster 10th Edition Downloads.

i installed the v 1.03 patch .. still nothing but a black screen.. tried to turn resolution to 800x 600 , medium 16 bit color..still black

Did you try setting it to use OpenGL instead of DirectX?

Install the latest drivers for your graphic card. Go to the manufacturer site. Of course first you have to figure out what card you have
