Hello all. I just reinstalled Chessmaster after a long time away from the game. Now all computer opponents make immediate moves, ie they don't take any time to "think." Has anyone else encountered this problem? Thanks!

This isn't a bug... think about it. If you played a human player and he/she moved immediately, would you complain?

You're probably playing one of the lower-rated personalities, right? That means that the search depth is very limited; therefore, it moves very fast (keep in mind that fast doesn't necessarily mean playing well).

Try playing a higher-rated personality.
