Im new to this forum, so hello to everyone :-)

I have purchased Chessmaster Challenge (Im unsure what version it is, but im assuming it might be the first as its just the title as above), and downloaded it onto my pc from the Terragame website. Ive managed to install it fine, and it seems to be running fine, but there are option to download additional tutorials and i can seem to do this. Does anyone have any idea why this might be, as im pretty sort of new to chess and it does seem to be helpful as far as training goes. Also, can i play online with this?

Tutorials are exactly what say they are... they teach you the rules of chess, and how to play a better game.

No, you can't play online with Chessmaster Challenge... you'll have to upgrade to Chessmaster 10th Edition or Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition for that...

Sorry, i cant download the addition tutorials that are in the programme, that was a typo, any suggestions?

Maybe they are not available anymore. It's a long time since Chessmaster Challenge was released.

You have to ask about the downloads on the site where you bought it.

Ahhhhhhh that might explain it. What i have is a good starting point, so i can stick with this and consider upgrading. On the topic, what is the best current version to purchase if i decide too?

Obviously the latest - Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition
