I have an old version of Chessmaster which only runs on a PC, however I am now running on a Mac and I would like to buy the latest version, but I have a question. I am working through some chess opening books and I found to my surprise, and horror, that the program I have will NOT let me play BOTH sides - it insists on playing me. I need to be able to play both sides so I can work through examples in the books. I am sure it does, but I need to be convinced! Will the 10th edition on a Mac let me play both sides? That is, I just move both white and black pieces and the program does not try to do anything...
