The next Chessmaster will work on multiprocessors so the amount of calculations it does will be increased. This will obviously result in more power in the engine due to brute force. But will the engine itself be more refined and thus slightly stronger? Right now its version 3.33. Have many revisions been made?

will the engine finally be multithreaded?
Is there confirmation of this somewhere?

by that alone the strength of the engine should go up a tiny tad... but it's engine improvements that would really make it better.. I've heard nothing on any engine improvements. Theking still seems to be getting killed by the better engines out there.

If you want a very challenging chess engine try Rybka

I'm about a 1600 rated player so Rybka is completely beyond my reach. The reason I am asking for a better King engine is because I have grown fond of the program and would like to see it kick some of the other engines around a bit.
