Hey, after the game is over I'll often see something like "mate opportunities: 3" which I'm guessing means there were 3 times when I could've gotten the computer in mate but missed it. How can I know where those 3 times occurred so that I can go back and look at the situation? Thanks

Hit the 'Mentor' button at the top of your screen. Then hit 'Game Analysis' and set the number of seconds you want Chessmaster to think. If you just want the missed mates, then you can just set it to 1 second. CM should easily see the missed mates.
Then after the game analysis is done you then click the left or right arrows on the move list (status window) to see the annotation. It's a pretty cool feature |
