I realize now that I am going to miss most of the questions in the intermediate quiz, but what I really want to know is what happens next. Is their going to be a review of the questions so I will know and understand the answers?
It doesn't tell you the answer so that you can take the exam again! But of course everytime you do it, you get more correct answers just because you remember which one is correct and which one is not, rather than to know the correct answer based on your chess knowledge. So taking the exam again and again is a bad idea if you want to really know where you stand. After 3 or 4 tries I simply knew which answers are correct, or at least which ones are not.
It's almost 5 years now since I last looked at it (I didn't look at the exam in GM edition at all!). Thats because I'm trying to forget the answers When the next edition of chessmaster comes out then I'll take it and see where I am.
So my recomendation to all is, take a free afternoon and take the exam seriously. After that don't look at it again for at least a year.
