I have generated few 6-men EGDBs and now I am thinking to generate few 7-men EGDBs.

I used feg. Does this make any sence, i mean are 7-men EGDBs supported by chessmaster?
feg is able to generate then.

Which 6 men EGDB's did you generate, whats their size and how long did it take to generate them?

My feg directory is around 10 giga. All my tablebase files are in that directory.

I have quad 2,4 GHz-> I can run 4 feg same time.

I estimate that one 7-men file would take 30 days.

Besides there is a problem with space and EGDB dependencies. For each 7 men EGDB you need all 3-4-5-6 men EGDB files on which the specific file depends on. You can't really generate any 7 men EGDB based on those 6 men EGDB's that you have listed.


You don't happen to have a few giga of server space where you could upload the 6 men EGDB's, do you?
