I just bought CM 10 and for some reason TheKing still runs on normal priority and freezes even with the "Freezing Patch". Can anyone offer some advice on how to fix it?

I'm pretty sure I replaced it. It says TheKing.exe was created dec.1 05, which is when the patch was put up on the boards.

I'm computer illiterate, how do I update the graphics card drivers for xp?

Well I updated the video card drivers and restarted, but it still freezes. It must be the patch. I can use the academy and stuff, it just doesn't work when I play games. I've likely done it wrong. I've downloaded the file to the CM 10 folder, and then extracted TheKing.exe to the same folder....

Aha! Nevermind all that, I realised what I did. Before I set the compatability mode to 98/me to see if that would do anything, but then I didn't change it back and I guess the patched King.exe didn't like that. It's set to low priority now.

Yep, it works just fine now.
