Hey guys, there is a local place that does duracoating of entire weapons for $350, including 2 magazines, and optics you have, and they will even throw in a custom logo on the mag well if you like without nickel and diming you. So I think I might do that to my RRA AR15 sometime. I have the pattern picked out, but I am completely clueless as to what to have as a logo. I was wondering if any of you have any unique ideas or ideas to how I should go about deciding. One friend suggested the Mustang logo since I'm a Mustang fan, mainly the running horse with the red white and blue stripes behind it. I think that would look slick, but I don't want to inject my car into everything I do, lol. But that idea is still in the background.


Another idea is the Stark Industries logo, since Iron Man is just so bad ass, lol


Or the Grammaton logo from Equilibrium:


And um, I don't know, that's all I could come up with right now, lol. What do you guys think?

I think those are some good choices for you Demon. How do they put a custom logo on the mag well? Do they have some process they use to remove the original logo?

Heh...I like my mag well logo just fine, since its an engraving of a reptile.

Do they have other services and other weapons they handle? I'm looking for a better barrel for my mini-14.

Oh, they don't do anything to the left side with all of the manufacturer's markings and all of that. The right side is typically blank and that's the side they duracoat the logo on. And I know they offer many other services, but that was the only thing I paid attention to, so I'm not sure about what other stuff they offer. They do have a website but it's pretty new and so far offers little to no information.

Oh man, you are good at this type of art, do you think you can make an image with lady justice (blind justice) out of only 2 colors? Don't need to see the whole body, as long as you can see the blind folded face, the sword, and the scale, that would be sweet.

lol, yeah I've forgot about this forum and was curious to take a look after playing Vegas 2.

That type of logo is quite complex for that short amount of time, I don't think it can me done nicely quick, and it will look rather cartoonish for a logo... I don't know, I think about the Metallica album rendered with outlines lol it quite ugly in my head. Logos usually needs to be in K.I.S.S. form so it can be easy to recognize at close and long range.

I thought a Mustang would be identifiying you much than a justice lady unless it was for another purpose since this post is like a month old.

Use your family crest.

Use Vegas pink camo.
