So I was looking through some of my things and I found my copy of the original rainbow six and decided to install it.... except that it won't let me! Any suggestions?

I'm running Windows XP service pack 3.

It will run the autoplay menu, but whenever I click on the install button nothing happens. I also can't start the installer by clicking on it straight from the disc.

I have a few simple solutions you might have tried...

Clean the disk
Restart the Computer
Shut down Spyware / Antivirus software possibly interfering with the install

Have you tried it installing it in compatability mode?

Got it working! Turned off my Anti-virus, and the installer popped right up.

Yup. Some anti-viruses can be buggers when it comes to installing things.
