A while ago Mr. Hanky said something about a video involving how with the right holster/gun sling a lightning fast draw was possible. (I'll try to find the thread in a sec)

Well, it looks like Mr Hanky never made that video... so I went and made one... Just waiting for photobucket to encode the damn thing.

I am using a Vickers Combat Applications Sling made by Blue Force Gear, but using a regular holster for the handgun instead of a drop-leg holster. It's what I'm used to since I conceal carry and that's how I practice.

But I wouldn't call it "lightning fast" since I do have to work on my transition a little, but it's pretty quick, but I think reloading is just as quick. Games seem to think that the Operators are noobs or something, they always take soooo long to reload when in real life it's twice as fast.

Yes, that is a pile of 3.5" diskettes you see, don't ask me why I still have those, maybe I should just throw them away instead of letting them collect dust there...

Keep em, in a several years you'll be able to sell them on ebay to some collector.

I cleaned out one of the family's rent houses about 10 years ago and someone left a computer that had 8 inch floppy drives with some disks. If the computer wasn't full of roaches I would've kept it. I still kind of wonder how much those disks would be worth as collector's items.

Your draw and reload are still atleast twice as fast as in Vegas, UBI should check this out.

COD4 has a pretty decent reload animation for the M4/M16. One of the better ones I've seen in a game.

But the way they handle handguns in the game is pretty sloppy and nasty.
