I'm still here. . . and actually I've been waiting over a month to show up. . . because if and when he returns I fully expect him to post in that T3 thread. Veryhappy

I'm still here.... for what its worth- isn't it ironic that supposedly the only person that is still here from "the old bunch" hasn't posted yet?

I'm here. Don't believe the registration date on my profile. My account got deleted by a rogue Splinter Cell mod back in 2005.

I had to reregister. I still have a screencap of my old profile, though.

I have the fifth freedom... so watch out, here I come

LOL, hey guys.

About the Terminator TV series, I think it was supposed to be a series about Sarah Conner. And for those of you who criticized my critique of T3, I remember someone saying that I was wrong for saying that the movie made a mistake in making Arnold call himself a "T-101" in the movie. I was saying that they are called T-800 or T-850 as they claim in this movie, and people were saying that I'm wrong, the movie is right, blah blah blah. Then if the movie was so right, how come in the DVD release they edited it so he actually calls himself a T-850 then?

Apparently even the movie makers realized their mistake, yet, people were still claiming that I was the one that didn't know what I was talking about, lol.

Anyway, I think I'm too much of a Terminator fanatic to enjoy any more sequels unless they were made by James Cameron.

Oh, but speaking of ridiculous action, anyone seen Live Free or Die Hard? Yah, that movie had the most amount of ridiculous action EVER, and you know what? I LOVED it!!! Die Hard was never meant to be a serious series, so they can actually pull it off. I mean, the stunts in this movie are incredible. If you haven't seen it yet, go do yourself a favor, gather up all of your guy friends and watch this movie!

Anyway, yah, I know I've been gone for about 4 months, but now I'm back. Talk to you guys later. Nice to see Leep still around, lol, you crack me up dude.

I'm going to watch it on Thursday, I'll let you know, but I was completely hyped up for a good few hours after seeing Live Free or Die Hard. Actually, I'm still hyped about that movie. It was just that awesome... I doubt Transformers can out-do it, you should definitely go see it, drag everyone you know to see it with you, lol.

Well, I did just what you suggested

'Piled up a bunch of guys and went to see Live Free or Die Hard

AND IT KICKED ASS! You're totally right; It's just one of those 'guy' movies. It's just one of those movies where you can enjoy it just by watching it, and at the same time laugh at the ridiculous action scenes. Although I wouldn't say it's better than Transformers, it certainly was just as enjoyable

I just saw Transformers yesterday. It was pretty awesome, but to be honest, I liked Die Hard more. I've always been a big Die Hard fan, have all of the Die Hard movies on DVD. Only saw a little of transformers when I was younger, but was never really a huge fan of it. I watched more of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, still haven't seen the movie. I guess I'll rent it when it comes out...

I would have to say my favorite scene in Transformers would ironically be the scene in the beginning with the A-10 warthogs scrambled to "eradicate" a certain scorpion infestation, with help from the Spectre gunship... I'm a HUGE fan of the A-10, those ugly things are just AWESOME with their 30mm GAU-8 Avenger Cannon... And how they can take a major beating and still continue flying to bring their pilots home. Simply awesome...

Second place would be the Saleen Mustang cop car versus the classic Camaro chase scene.

With Die Hard, my favorite scenes were the tunnel scene and the F-35 scene...

Yah, when the F-22 Raptors showed up in the Transformers movie, all I could think about was the F-35 scene from Die Hard, it was just too incredible...

Welcome back, Demon! Big Grin

I'm a big fan of the A-10 as well. Here's a link to a video you might like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDRJLOfEOVE Just a warning before anybody clicks on the link, it is a song by a band called Dos Gringos. They are all F-16 pilots, and as such their lyrics may not be suitable for all audiences.

I'll definitely have to check out those two movies. Gotta love the Spectre too. bow
