This is kind of old news, but has anyone seen the Jerry Seinfeld interview on Larry King Live?
Jerry Seinfeld flips out on Larry King Live I personally can't stand Larry King Live, the guy's a moron, but Jerry Seinfeld is worse. Larry was just setting up a question to give Seinfeld an opportunity to explain what happened to end the show, but instead, Seinfeld flips out over the concept that he can be canceled. I mean, how full of yourself can you be? He acts like he was so big nobody can cancel him, he has to be the one calling the shots. O mighty Seinfeld, lol. "I was the number one show on television Larry" um, actually, there were other people involved there big shot, lol. And then when Larry King tried to plug his new movie for him, he kept interrupting him because he was still so caught up in his pride being hurt. And the funniest part of it all is that Jeff Foxworthy, a "simple redneck," has made more money as a comedian than Jerry Seinfeld. All of the stuck up people of New York would have an aneurism if you tell them that, but too bad, it is true, lol. ______________________________________________ "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." - Edmund Burke "It's better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you're not." - Anonymous "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is." - William J. Well, look at Larry King! He is clueless! Larry King is so out of the times. He's old and his show is just getting worse because of it. Larry King didn't have any idea about Seinfeld or how popular. The man is losing it! Did you know that he has never ever used the internet? My grandfather has even managed to do a Google search. I just think it is time for Larry King to throw in the towel. It's time to retire.

Um, I don't like Larry King, but Larry King does know how popular Seinfeld was, he asked that question like almost any other talk show host idiot would, to give Seinfeld the opportunity to explain it himself. He's not supposed to answer the question for him, then what is Seinfeld there for? If you watch interviews, they always ask really obvious questions because the viewers want to hear it from the celebrity's mouth.
But the fact that Seinfeld would freak out from the concept of him being cancelled just shows how full of himself he is. Ask someone like Jeff Foxworthy (who has made more money as a comedian than Seinfeld BTW) that same question and he wouldn't at all freak out because he's not full of himself. That was his pride being hurt and nothing more. Even if I had the number one show in the country, I would never sit there and say it myself, it's like giving myself a pat on the back. I won't be like "I had the number one show, geez." A humble person would have made a response more like "when I first started this, I never expected it to take off like that, and it was a wonderful gift that the audience gave to me..." blah blah blah blah blah. Most celebrities know to give responses like that, only an idiot, like Seinfeld, will sit there and give himself an ego stroking, on live television, what a moron. But I guess there are plenty of moronic viewers that don't see this, which I find odd as hell, his body language is clear as daylight, now I'm starting to understand how misunderstandings happen so often, some people seem unable to read body language to save their lives, lol. ______________________________________________ "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." - Edmund Burke "It's better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you're not." - Anonymous "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is." - William J. Haha, I agree about the body language. I think it was just a misunderstanding. And there was some comedic tone in Jerry Seinfeld's voice. Like when he said "could I get a resume in here." I thought that was funny.

I don't care for Seinfeld in the least, I didn't think it was all that bad. He did try to be funny about it, and I'd be pretty shocked if I was in the same situation. I would expect an interviewer as prominent as Larry King to have done some "homework" before scheduling the interview. I'm sure that even my grandmother probably knows "Seinfeld" didn't get canceled.
It's almost as bad as interviewing Hillary Clinton (Not a job I'd want) and not knowing she was formerly the first lady. Or asking the Pope if he is Catholic. Anyone who doesn't know even that much already probably shouldn't be conducting the interview. |

It was less comedic and more sarcasm. It's kind of like if you insult my credentials, I would be like, geez, can I get my credentials here? (so I can show this idiot) that would be the part that is left unsaid but is implied. ______________________________________________ "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." - Edmund Burke "It's better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you're not." - Anonymous "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is." - William J. Um... again, I'm almost 100% sure Larry King knew before the interview. It is what interviewers do, they ask obvious questions to give the celebrity being interviewed the opportunity to explain it him/herself. It is pretty common. But EVEN IF IT WASN'T, let's pretend for a second that Larry King didn't say "you cancelled it right?" and he simply said "so, did they cancel you?" The fact that Seinfeld would freak out AT ALL at the concept of being cancelled shows how full of himself he is. I mean, seriously, if you were not full of yourself, no matter how popular a show is, you should always be aware of the possibility that for whatever reason, your show CAN be cancelled. No matter how "big" you think you are, there is always someone above you who will make the final decision. That is, unless, you think you're this bigshot that nobody can go against, like Seinfeld obviously feels he is.
Again, think about this same situation being asked to someone who isn't so cocky. Imagine if it was being asked to someone more humble. Would a humble person advertise him/herself as the number one show on television? Even if it were true? HELL NO. Rascal Flatts had the top selling album last year out of ALL GENRES. Listen to their interviews, never would they be like "oh, of course we're going to win vocal group of the year, we had the top selling album out of all genres." I'm not saying they are not thinking that, but they know not to say it because it makes you sound cocky. Seinfeld completely shows how full of himself he is in this video, 100%. The fact that he would freak out just from the concept of him being cancelled alone says that much. I mean seriously, you don't think that freaking out from the mere concept of your show being cancelled is not a very cocky attitude? "I'm so big, nobody can cancel me. How dare you suggest that someone as big as me can be cancelled. Nobody calls the shots but me." That's basically exactly the message he is saying. Oh yah, not full of yourself at all... ______________________________________________ "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." - Edmund Burke "It's better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you're not." - Anonymous "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is." - William J. Wow! That's bad! It seems to me that Mr. Seinfeld is expressing a great deal of insecurity in that video. This goes beyond cocky...this looks like a guy who seems to think he is at the twilight of his career and is getting defensive about it. Seinfeld's show getting canceled was a rumor, which was why King brought it out in his first question. It seemed to me that King mentioned the cancelation rumor as a joke...kind of a way of breaking the ice. YIKES! Celebrities can be scary! I am so glad that the lady I quote in my sig isn't like that.

The funny thing is, all of my friends happen to agree that we ALL thought the show was annoying and Seinfeld is otherwise not funny. Weird that we all share this opinion but apparently his show was very popular...

The show had its moments, but overall, I agree that Seinfeld isn't funny...nor was he ever funny. You know what I hated most about the Seinfeld show? The music...the theme and musical score seemed to me to be nothing but pseudointellectual, yuppy, ****! It was suited for the same kind of people who think that Bobby McFarin is some kind of musical genius...and perhaps the comedy was as well.
I remember the biggest laugh I got from Jerry Seinfeld...it was watching Gilbert Gottfried do an impression of him as an actor in Hamlet. "So the bouncer came up to me and told me I was going to have to take my hat off. When I asked him why, he told me...well, we're trying to keep this place clear of the queers, and they wear hats just like that. And I told him...hmmm...that's funny. Because where I come from, the queers have their hair cut, kinda like your's." Now THAT is funny, and its not Seinfeld. I'm betting you know who said that, Demon. BTW...did you view the vids yet? I know...nothing spectacular, but we were just out having fun. "To be afraid of living is to be afraid of dying. Oh yah, I did, I keep forgetting to ask you, who's who in the videos?

The guy with the light blue shirt, shooting the M-4 is Steve, a friend of mine from the UK. Shooting the Mini-14 is my bud, Kevin, a former Marine. Shooting the .308 sniper rifle is my brother Mike, a Marine Recon guy. The guy standing in back with the white shirt is my friend Tomasz...his family immigrated here from Poland. Me? I'm the guy behind the camera.

Wow, just got around to watching this and wow. He got a little overworked over such a small question. But, I don't particularly like Larry King, and he seems like he has no clue on what's going on, so it kind of evens it out.

I never volunteered to watch Seinfeld when it was still running (I was still a kid then) but even now, after watching so many re-runs during the course of my grown up years I don't think it's that great of a show. Yeah, I find it entertaining once in a while, but it gets old--no, not because it IS old, but because Jerry Seinfeld is annoying to me. There's something about his attitude...I can't quite single it out...but I find him to be...unpleasant. Seinfeld might be an alright guy for all I know (oh for sure he probably isn't), but from what I saw in the Larry King interview clip, he sounds pretty arrogant and more than a little ***holeish. WTF did he do after he left his Seinfeld show anyways? Fall in a hole?
God, I'm never using the word Seinfeld again...even his name annoys me for some reason...no I don't have anything against Jewish names...just his. Current gamertag KOxSOMEONE |
