I am very happy with Haze, and yes it might have a few qwerks in it, but any avid video gamer knows to expect these from a new release. And Kudos to FR on the excellent balancing, as far as I am concerned nothing could be improved from what they have already with it, and I hope that as far as the balancing of the two teams nothing changes, Cuz if it aint broke don't fix it. All I think is that the online connections and freezing should be patched soon, because it is a bit tedious, but overall I am very pleased that the online skepticism around this game was proven to be incorrect. Most Of the real HAZE marks are still happy with the concept and the game. Even though some things could have been better.

Well I went out and bought a PS3 to play it so I think that answers it for you lol

Not had enough time to play as much as I would like especially with other games like Rockband fighting for my time but from what I've played so far loving it, just need to get online and sort out a PSN so I can join you guys online

Yes, I like Haze. I bought Turok on the PS3, played it once and it hasn't seen the light of day since, Haze has been in the machine several times and still draws me back.

The graphics aren't spectacular, but the game play in single & multi-player more than makes up for it.

The game suffers from bad acting, unskippable cut scenes, under developed plot devices, overly subtlesque storyline over tones and a terribly thought out anti-climatic ending.

Of course none of these problems are in the multiplayer game.

Haze is one of the most fun games i have played in a long time.
The 4-player online co-op mode is awesome and lots of fun and i never seem to get tired of it and the multiplayer is great and very fun too.
The story is very good and interesting and the gamne got some great characters.
Haze is a very underrated game.
People concentrate way to much on the technical stuff and seem to forget about the great gameplay.
The only two things i dont like are that the single player is so short and its hard to aim with the turrets on the vehicles.
Haze is the most fun fps game there is on the ps3 in my opinion.

This game is horrible...bottom line. The only reason you like this game is because it scored so low w/ reviews and you forced yourself to prove them wrong. Sad.

Humpadiddy perhaps you can be a little more specific on why you dislike the game??

Its worth remembering everyone is entitled to their opinion on the game, you included and we should never presume to know why someone likes or dislikes a game.

I like the concept of it, but the part that makes the game great is the nectar, which you give up after 2 hours, and you become a rebel. I'm not big on graphics, but the dialogue is rough. ( Drop em like skittles?). And only 3 modes of multiplayer is bad. the most upsetting part is that this game was hyped for over a year just so people could spend $60 for 4 hours of story and limited multiplayer. The game was also too easy even on higher difficulty and the ending left you hanging. Shane Carpenter, the player you are, is a wuss, has no character, and the rest of the cast are a typical stereotype redneck joining the marines in Nam. Like i said before, if this game recieved a 9 or 9.5 from reviews, everyone would question it, but it scored so low, that people want and force themselves to like it. is that a good enough answer?

Oh, and by the way, I go through alot of these posts and I find people's answers even wors than mine and i don't see those posts getting edited. What's the deal with mine ms. kleaneasy?

I personally felt the stereotype of the other mantel troops was intentional to portray the affect of the nectar in creating a soldier who was nothing more than a fighting dog keen to ‘fight the fight’ with no consideration of the reasons why.

I believe Ubisoft and Free Radical could do better. The game seems rush. Buts it's still a good game.

the best part of the game, is the ubisoft intro before the game starts. the graphics are clean and the sound is great. the rest of the game blows! i cant believe they would sell something like this.

Haze is just too bland to like, I found. The weapon list is dull, one faction's powers amount to just decreasing the difficulty level by one and giving you thermal goggles while the other's are mostly barely-useful gimmicks, the maps are poorly structured and full of oddly slippery slopes and invisible walls, the game's world isn't fleshed out at all, and the storyline is uninteresting, pretentious and contradictory.

What's frustrating is that so much more could have been done with the ideas on show here, if more effort had been put into enemy, weapon and level design and less into seeing if they could rip off every Vietnam movie ever made at the same time.

HAZE SUCKS. END OF TOPIC.

i like haze a lot.... I would like it even more if they let us use the flying vehicles, as well as the ground.

if you read all the other post's in this forum you will find why it sucks.

every thread has multiple negative comments. read em, and you'll see. The game is not good.
Activision/infinityward with call of duty 4 really out did them selves. that game is great. that game is great! thats why people play it. HAZE blows. thats why people like me dont play it, and will never buy another Ubisoft game.
