restiance at times can look a little blurry ( i said a little ) but hazes graphics look crisp and clean so i would be suprised if hazes graphis where worse than restiances -------- "I wasen't there when It didn't happen"

im a blood addict. i love blowin sum1's face off and watching the blood fly. i would love loads of blood splatter from melee attacks like ut3 impact hammer (headshots look better with lots of blood )

Blood is great...if it's used properly. In GoW1-2, you couldn't deliver the kind of impact that that game provided w/o the gore effects. However, the overuse of blood can really desensitize you to the horrors of what you're actually going through. Given that FRD is taking a more unique look at the FPS genre with Haze, I think it's probable that the focus won't be huge gore effects, that's just my opinion though.

Well, if you've haven't seen any video of the game where Shane's helmet, (belmet ), visor lifts, it gets plenty gory I can tell you, but unlike some of the games mentioned it's in the context of graphic war violence, not just gore for gore's sake, unlike the giblet splatter of UT for instance. As you say morne, considering their angle on the storyline, this is as it should be. Haze FAQ - please check first if you have a question about Haze.

I don't think that gore is necessarily important In a game. Although its fun to watch, I'd rather be more focused on what I'm suppose to be doing in the game. But if I'm just messing around in the game, gore would be perfect for Sh*ts and giggles. "If games make you violent, does monopoly make you a millionaire?" - ???

ya lol, i have a hdtv and it is awesome with my games. if you dont have a high resolution tv, then maybe that is your problem, and i think haze looks better than resistance now when i look at it. I just hope that the online wont be buggy and make the enviroment and make the a.i. go hay-wall. O ya this was another of my concerns. do you think online, the game will have more a.i. and will the graphics be all weird looking. Does online do this to games? (also, i know that online depends on our wireless, or wired coneection, but does FRD servers or any other game servers what make a game smooth?)

Well resistance was a release title, and haze has been development for like 3 years so yea... the graphics would have an edge over them. But I'm a student... HDTV's aren't in my scope right now for me atleast. Although I have a HDTV in my house hold... but it's used for watching TV and what not so i don't have much access to it unless it's real late at night or in the day where people are at work.

I doubt it will be buggy and cause problems with the A.I. They said that they've been working really hard on the A.I to make it seem like another person is there playing with you. Hopefully problems wont arise that will cause distraction to the average gamer. "If games make you violent, does monopoly make you a millionaire?" - ???

ya everyone would like a "halo" for their own system, but i wouldn't want to be halo like, and haze looks like that game. I now think that the graphics are similar because they bot look amazing, and i hope that haze is laggy like r6v2 but perfect like resistance!

Will people please stop comparing Haze and H***? PLEASE? "If games make you violent, does monopoly make you a millionaire?" - ???

cant believe you guys are comparing a game that's not even released yet with resistance and halo. the game still have a month and half before release and the earliest footage are from a february build. so, what about we wait until it comes out before comparing. I have to say that i am more than impressed with what free rad have done so far. the graphics by itself doesnt say much, its the whole experience all together the big deal. by the way, I just downloaded the haze game menu music from the ign blog its simply a masterpiece. you guys should go check it out. remember, a game without great gameplay suck, great graphic without great gameplay suck too, so graphic is secondary by all means in a game.

Can you give us the link? I can't find it. Thanks in advance!! Nvm I found it, thanks for the prompt though : Haze Menu Music Download and a teaser track Teaser Track(Click this and download will prompt your browser about the dl) Otherwise go here and go to the bottom of the page: IGN Haze BlogLol, the teaser is kool, though Shane doesn't sound... well like I imagined; but i guess it makes sense since Shane went in a regular guy before he left to "fight the good fight".

Seriously, I disagree. Not that I think graphics are the be all and end all anyway, but they look fine in general. Some areas could be a little better perhaps, some areas are highly impressive and up with the best out there. Haze FAQ - please check first if you have a question about Haze.

Plus, the game still hasn't been announced as going gold yet, so there's still time for refinement Morne

Quite true. Personally, I think the graphics look really nice in the recent vids. We're all used to the next-gen machines and visuals now, I think. Nothing is really going to blow us away visually anymore because that only happens in the early period after the release of new consoles. I think Haze looks really nice overall, we have all just gotten used to the visuals of the new machines. We also have to remember that we don't know if it's a gold version we're seeing in the recent vids as Morne said. Plus, games always look better when you see them in action for yourself as opposed to vids on the net or on TV.
