Damn.... i really wish I could play with more of my friends. Ubisoft, you do reailze that this issue will destroy tournaments and any other competitions for this game right? I suggest you fix it fast if you want this game to be as successful as it can be..

it doesnt have anything to do with your router. hell, i dont even use a router, i have my ps3 directly plugged in to a 3 month old surfboard cable modem. it works. haze does not.
ugh, at least the problem was posted over on destructoid. maybe when its a bit more publicise, ubi will quit saying that everyones router or modem is broken.
i put out a baited trap last night. im hoping to catch that pesky party system we were told was there.

Funny how a demo can work so good and the game comes out broken!!
Retailers won't take a game back, because ubisoft isn't going to issue RA#'s and credits. If they didn't do it for RB6V2 they aren't going to do it here either, It was disheartening to have her say they hadn't heard of the issue though. If there are only a few 100 people that this problem is effecting they more then likely consider the launch and game a success, got crack an egg to make an omelet kind of mindset. We've got to continously call till the problem is addressed w/ a patch. As for the various tourny's associated w/ this game, ubi could care less about this, its all about running a half made game out there, using it as the beta, to get the launch week funds to mostly likely square away the higher archy and fund the next disaster in the making.

What Ports are Required to Play Haze Online? Question I am having trouble connecting/hosting a Haze multiplayer game. What ports need to be open in my router/firewall? Answer Please make sure that you have the latest firmware updates for your router from the manufacturers website.
Haze requires the following ports to be open in your router/firewall:
[TCP] 80, 443, 3074, 3092, 3478, 3479, 3480, 5223, 8080
[UDP] 3074, 3478, 3479, 3658, 30004
If you use a router with a unique IP address and you want to create rooms and host games, you must route these ports to your console.

even if i used a router (im connected directly to my modem), i wouldnt mess with my ports when they work fine for every other game.
listen, i dont expect an immediate solution, i want a to know that they know theres a serious problem, and are working to fix it. i still cant accept invites from half my friends, and still see a different server list than those friends. its not like i can look for the room theyre in and join it that way, because we see a different set of rooms. if i cant play with friends, why play all, no matter how fun the game is?
here party system, party system, party system,! here boy!

Just did a test with me, freeway_rick and eskim0bob. Rick direct connected to his modem.. esk still got the message and i could join. It has nothing to do with the router.

half of people seem to not be able to see ubisoft hosted rooms. what company is running the servers?
|
| |
|
|

have anybody (you know ;that actually matter from the company)said any statement about the patch problem ,i tried returning the game to the game store and all i could do was exchange it for the same game. what the hell is wrong whith this f****** companies have no respect for consumers when they release this halfass games and expect us to bent down and take it,we all should just rent the game before buying to make shure they actually works.

Same thing I posted earlier. This BAD news for all involed. New game that cost good money & they cant even have them tested properly. We all should just tell them we want our money back. You know they wont do a thing for us on this. We'll be lucky if this even gets fixed. Sorry I'm just so MAD!!!

Couldn't this be considered false advertising somehow?

There are hosted rooms? What?? where?
|

So not everyone can see the same list of rooms to join? Maybe that's why it seems like there are so few to choose from.
And I had no idea there were Ubisoft hosted rooms.

really would like to play with my friends that i told to buy this...

im beginning to think that the servers were split on purpose. there really seems to be 2 sets of servers, where 1 set cant communicate with the other. im thinking this might be because they couldnt get the servers running fully before launch, and decided to split them in half to reduce strain figuring theyd just patch it down the line. in my opion, that scenario is even worse, considering they would have know about it, and just didnt tell anyone. still, this could just be Demonwares fault, who knows.
this is seriously ruing the online experience for me. as much as i enjoy playing with randoms, id rather play with friends. party system anyone?
|
| |
|
|
|
dunno if this has been mentioned.. but apparently some guy rang up and the people that got it on the day of release went into the first load of servers.. then those who got it later went into the second side of servers when they were restarting them or something.. cant remember too much sorry..
