also i managed to miss when they are saying what an empty hand is. what does it mean?
basically its just like a normal civilian that has no weapons and no defence... but the mantel jsut believe they may start fighting at anytime and its better to just kill them while its easy

This is a question asked by someone to Ubiwuzzi and look at what he says (HINT, HINT, HINT, HINT)
Q#6 Will it have little funny bits/easter eggs? (for example in TimeSplitters: Future Perfect there was a secret bit at the end where you got to torture a scientist with different powers)
[DL] Oh yes. My personal favorite is the satnav on the Mantel buggy, and anyone wanting to hear how much attention to detail we put in the game should take a listen to the radio playing on the deck of the Mantel Land carrier early in the game

Teare told Shane, but I don't remember that he told Merino, neither about all the dead Mantel troopers. I don't believe that Merino heard the conversation either since he didn't react or say anything about it. I actually think either Merino or Shane is really stupid. If Merino do infact know what happens to the people using Nectar, then his pretty stupid if he wanna use it for his own army. But if Shane never told him that, then he should have spoken to Merino at the end about it and explain what happens.

Not only am I feeling the Killzone effect from Haze I kind got the Halo 3 effect happened to me. When I watched the trailer which filled us in on the background story I didn’t get that information while playing… or I missed it.
Also the scene where the rebel came and beat up the two troopers never happen I know it wasn’t game play but It would have been better if they had that kind of storytelling.
Lastly I believe despite what the developers think if they had did some third-person story telling some of the story would be more appealing to more people, it could make the creepy scene with GM less “friendly”.

bottem line, the story was (in my honest opinion) good in the begging, but then my opinion was i FU**ING hate this story. The games story should have been explained more and i know theres that more than meets the eye sh** but come the story just sucked...
P.S. graphics or gameplay didnt help the overall game much. a lot of **** they should of fixed in this 6 month polishing period

Some stories do not need to be explained in detail. You work the rest out yourself.
