I would imagine the answer would be yes, as long as it's through shooting out their Nectar administrator - it wouldn't make sense for the PH to be able to do it but not Mantel. On the other hand, your team-mates can also do it to YOU. Wink

And as Mornelithe pointed out, there are questions being asked here that are already answered in the FAQ sticky thread, (see the link in my sig). All the answers are contained in the first four posts and there's a contents page too, so nobody has to trawl through multiple posts to try to find the answer - it's easy. And the devs are not going to come back with answers to questions that are already available in the FAQ. Wink

I have one question.
What will the online ranking system be like in Haze? Will it be more similar to Call of Duty system where your weapon selection is restricted to your rank. Is it more like a Warhawk/Resistance Fall of Man where things like character customisation is restricted to rank, or is there no plans for a ranking system like in Unreal tournament 3?

Many people seem to be asking about the online structure, (and of course I understand why!). I'm sure the developers and Ubisoft will be talking about this aspect of the game a lot more as launch day approaches, but I wouldn't expect to get too much detail from this thread on that just yet - you'll hear more from previews and press releases I would expect, although probably Wuzzi can get some more juicy morsels after the major news is released. Wink

Er, nothing actually, I just meant the 'major' news we still haven't heard yet, ie. multiplayer news, not meaning that I knew of any 'major' thing that is yet to be revealed - I don't. Sorry to disappoint you! I'm no more 'in the loop' than any of you guys. Wink

If you had to compare Haze's style to another FPS, what would it be? E.G, the gameplay is like COD 4 or UT 3?

Are there dedicated servers or will it have the terrible system Cod has adopted?

Will there be a mapmaker and an option to put these maps online, like in Timesplitters?

Will there be a ranking system online?

Devs have said that the whole game is seen through SHane Carpenter's eyes, does this mean there are no cutscenes or are they all just first person?

Any answers would be great Smile

As far as I'm aware this is absolutely correct - any dialogue or plot-driving scenes are all delivered in first-person, and for all those playing in co-op as well. Smile

Games don't affect kids coz if pacman affected the last generation of kids most teens would have a pizza face and munch loads of pills

Yes, I have three questions.

1. As far as developing for the PS3, how much power have you exploited from the Cell processor in terms of console-specific functions... or let me put it this way, seeing that the game was reported to be portable, given that the game was built to be played on the PS3 specifically, how portable will this game be from taking this from the PS3's Cell Processor to the 360's processor?

2. Do you guys have a release date down yet? because I'm making a Haze flyer with a date on it and I wanted to put the correct date on it. (see fan art section)


3. Do you think you guys have your cover art finished? If you don't will you guys have a contest? If you do, I'd like to submit a concept... well, a package design. (see fan art thread and look for pixelsword on page four)


You may ask "why am I asking/posting this stuff"? well, just in case my internet gets cut-off, I want to preemptively submit.

The BD is shattered glass, just in case you wondered; I also have a hand one

I made this in one night (actually this night) and it took about like four to six hours. I did the artwork, but I snagged the actual template for the plastic box and the retail information... I didn't want to re-create the wheel when there's tires all over the place, lol!

Nice work Pixelsword, and I appreciate why you posted it here, but we have a Fan Art sticky for this kind of thing. It would have made more sense to post the question here and link to the Fan Art thread. We need to try to keep this thread for Questions and Answers or it's going to get confusing. In future eh?
