Lately on Haze for multiplayer, I have been getting problems where I will be playing and the screen just freezes and I have to reset my Ps3. Usually the game freezes when I am doing something like turning, or reloading and turning. This has happened to me at least 4 times in the past 2 days.
Sorry to hear you're having issues with the game zonark. I'll keep an eye on this thread and chase things up when I get back into the office (Monday, i.e. today, is a long weekend in the UK)

Thanks Ubi.Vigil
This thread also summarizes the multiplayer freezing problems that members have reported.
And this thread comprises general connection and online errors that players have encountered.

Ok but WHY is it freezing and HOW do we fix it??? I thought it may have been my ps3 dieing on me like my two ps2's did. or it might be ust a major glitch. is it some sort of virus for the ps3? is there going to be any long term damage to it because of this? WE NEED ANSWERS!!! and ubisoft and free radical are the ones that i know that can help us. i feel that we live in the world like shane carpenter. so im doing somthing about this by asking any one, every one wat they kno about this and how to fix it. and more importantly Are people even planning on fixing it??? please help!!!
If I go on a 4 hour playing spree, I'd say that the game freezes at least once a hour if not more, that's not including the times you get the connection error. The connection error this early in a game's lifespan isn't that big of a deal for it's obvious they are tweaking servers and trying to work out the bugs, that might I add should have been taken care of before the game was put on the shelves.
The whole freezing issue is a shame though, how does a game make it out of the factory like that?

This explains a lot about you, either you are lying or you got a bad copy because I hated Mercenaries from the 'new' copy I got that kept pausing every minute by itself regardless of what controller I used. So, I think you got a bad copy is all.
Death, what makes you think i'm lying. My problem isn't a bad copy, it's due to somebody thinking that splitting up the multiplayer servers was a good idea. Why would you do that anyways, were they worried that the servers wouldn't handle the flow, i guess they didn't read the ign review.
In addition to that Mr. Death, I don't have any problems getting online, staying there for an extended period of time is difficult. Are there constant network interruptions, I'd guess 1 in 3 games online is loss due to that. No biggy though, that's to be expected in a new launch.
But the thread you came in here to flame me was about the game freezing up and as you can see I'm not the only one experiencing this problem either.
Don't worry Flynn, Death thinks he knows it all and likes to make wild assumptions at random with no intelligent reasoning behind them. Ignorant to that fact or not, just ignore him.
Anyways, I seem to be freezing more frequently in MP than the rest of you for some reason. I freeze almost every other match. Hope the issue is identified soon and a fix is quick, so we can get back to un-disrupted massacres.
i've noticed this too... on a lot of ppl's ps3's nonetheless. Also, whenever I start up the game i find that i'll be "logging on" for about 20 min. before i just decide to quit game and try again.... pretty sad really.
Originally posted by mn21: the ps3 might be overheating. i noticed that when im playing haze, the fans blow out more heat than when playing other games.
That can't be right because I will play other games online for just as long as I will play Haze, and I never freeze up on those. Also the PS3 never really over heats unless you play constantly and never give it time to cool down for at least an hour.
That happends to me too. But i got the Haze the day it came out so maybe the first copies that came out are bad copies, or its something else. My game freezes like 3x a day and it gets me mad. usually if im on a game server thing in Europe or like a public made game by some random host. If im on a US server it doesnt freeze, most of the time not at all.It might just be where you are located or something. Anyways, I hope this problem gets fixed.
