ok ive heard so many bad things about hazes characters especially that the mantel troopers are ALL stereotypical macho alpha males, well is that the idea DUMB A$$'s at ign the idea is that nectar makes them overconfident and obnoxious, they like to dig at this when thats the idea some people are truly stupid!!! or for that matter il informed and in that case shouldn't write a review
exactly... it's Marcus Fenix "dudespeak" on crack and steroids. This game went over alot of heads. Doesn't surprise me, schools don't teach anything anymore. Today's kids can't even form coherent sentences half the time. ...For those who've played the campaign... think Peshy! ( who had me cracking up and that never happens to me in games). I thought they were all good, especially Duvall. First online FPS that I've ever been compelled to finish the campaign... seriously... the first story I've completed ever, including Halo1 which wasn't even online. I can see people rolling their eyes when "watchstrap" opens his mouth, but those people didn't get it. Take today's ADHD Ridulin (sp?) video game child, stick 'em in the future where they on more potent ADHD drugs, more video games and less thought and outdoor activities, snatch him out of high school, put him in armour and load him full of crack, LSD, and steroids and you have "watchstrap". There's some "watchstraps" in Iraq right now! Too smart 4 many people
Yeah a lot of the review sites are misunderstanding many of the concepts in Haze. I hate to say it, but we've seen a lot of news over the past few years about Soldiers doing idiotic things, and Haze does this to a more extreme level with Nectar making these guys a little nuts.
