Every time I try to play online with HAZE I get this...
Initializing network *long pause* Logging on *long pause* "Your playstation 3 system cannot connect to playstation network. Please verify your connections and try again" I've reset my modem multiple times with the same result. At one point I did receive a message that indicated "Internal server error" or something of that nature, but I've been unable to replicate that error message. My friend in Texas has had no problems logging on, but as for me in Florida it's been like this for 2 days now. I've was able to connect and play online with the demo version no problem, I don't understand why the full version is giving me this issue. I don't have an active firewall, and I've tried both wired and wireless connections, any ideas? ***title edited This message has been edited. Last edited by: zgubilici, |

try deleting your demo
|

|
I deleted it before installing.
So now I'm re-downloading the demo to see if that fixes something. |

Sorry to here that ..try resetting your router or unplugging it for a couple minutes that usually clears up any trouble I have connecting to psn. I have had no problems with Hazr connecting.

Reinstalling the demo did nothing to alleviate the problem. I've also tried deleting both the install, and save data. Still cannot connect. Strangely enough, I was able to connect to the demo version fine and play online with it. What the heck is wrong?

i live in florida and i have no problem
i suggest setting your PS3 as the DMZ host. you can do that by giving your PS3 a static ip address and then going to your router to set the DMZ host as the static ip address of the PS3 This will open up all ports on the router for your PS3 to use google DMZ host PS3 |

I went through this process with high anticipation of success, but sadly I'm still receiving the same error message. |

Man... I am having the same problem... I had no problem playing the demo but now I can't connect to PSN with the actual game. I am having no problem getting into the PS store or playing other games like Warhawk, so what gives?
I have A D-Link N extreme wireless router and I noticed that some other dudes in another forum had the same complaints and they were all using the same router.. Is Ubisoft aware of this issue? I have copied the other posts from the other forum as I think the moderator is trying to get all online issue posts into this forum. If this continues to be an issue, I am taking this game back as it fails to deliver as represented. I have a friend that just bought the PS3 last week and has experienced nothing but problems with it. We were really looking forward to this game for on line play and I suspect that if this issue is not addressed in a VERY timely fashion, he will be taking the entire system back and getting the 360, where these online problems are not as much of a hassle. The rest of my games work online with no problem, and I can connect to PS store/network. But I put the game in and it says my PS3 cant connect to the PS network? I connect wireless through my D-Link extreme N router. My PS3 is showing 95% signal strength. Any advice? I do like the game (even though it was short, but I bought it to go online). Ok Here's some progress for anyone getting the
"Your playstation 3 system cannot connect to playstation network. Please verify your connections and try again" Error When I disconnect my modem from the router, and feed it straight to my PS3, I connect flawlessly anytime. This means our D-link N routers are somehow blocking the connection. I've tried both NMZ and Port fowarding again this morning with no success yet. If I get anymore info I'll let you know. |

yeah i have the dlink n extreme also, its like 50/50 if it works. It was workign fine all yesterday and thursday but today and wednesday it just stopped working. My ps3 is on dmz and idk whats going on. The demo worked completely fine for me.

Mine works fine wirelessly, I don't even remember what kind of router I have, I never go in my basement.

I gave my ps3 a static ip and opened all of the ports the manual says. I even tried putting the ps3 on DMZ host but that still did not work. If i find anything else out i'll let everyone know

Yeah, similar problem here. I can connect just fine, but when I am in-game 50% of the time half way through the match I will get a d/c message and the server will keep me disconnected until I drop out, reconnect, and start the entire process over again. D-Link router, tried opening ports, running a wireless connection 100% signal strength if that helps solve the problem... I too will take this game back by the time bad company comes out, if the online is still completely broken in the sense that just about every other game I am disconnected from the server. I join mostly ranked skirmish and find a match games, but I have also found this problem when playing splitscreen unranked matches as well. Please fix this problem Free Radical so I don't have to keep reconnecting every other match. Thanks.

Some what of the same problem here. D-link router that is directly beind me and my PS3, still getting disconnected randomly and it's taking almost 10 minutes just to get back online again.
If this persists, I'm getting my money back. I'm somewhat disappointed with this game. |

yeh, im kinda having the same trouble as that, apart from mine says "connection to demonware failed. Please try again"
could anyone help me? |
||||
|
I also got the DemonWare failure message, as well as PSN connection messages. Even though I got a wireless signal of 100% and am right on the other side of the wall as my router. I just disconnected my ethernet cable from Xbox360 and plugged it in my PS3 and had no problems. Now if there was a way to get people on the PSN to stop PURPOSELY killing there teammates. It would make it worth playing online.

I cant get online. Netgear router for me though.
|
||||
|
Ah, so it's not just d-link routers? So then I guess Free Radical needs to get with the program on this one... otherwise this'll be a trade 'in by the time Bad Company is out.
