I thought sony was talking up the HD **** and 99% of there games are 720p what a joke!! So does the PS3 just upscale the image to 1080p, because the package only list 720p. I don't even own a PS3 game and only use it for a blu-ray player. I have purchased several games for my ps3 and they were in 720p, took them back and swapped them out for the 360 version which was in 1080p.. what's the deal here.

Upscaling rarely makes the games look better. It blurs the image. That's it. It usually helps a ton with jaggies but makes text a ***** to read. The 360 version of 99 percent of games aren't in 1080p, only upscaled. CoD has the option for 1080p and guess what?? it looks almost identical to 720. I wonder why?
