All I can say is that we have really skilled players in both warhawk and COD4. We are an all around clan since we have someone who speciallizes in every area of combat. I don't want to make up your mind for you but we are a good clan. Anything you might want to know is on our website.

THE MOB CLAN (MOB) IS PRE-RECRUITING FOR HAZE (PS3)

BASIC INFORMATION:
The Mob Clan (MOB) is a competitive, gamebattles clan on the PS3. Although we have been involved with various FPS titles, we are only active in one game at any given time. Currently, we are based in Call of Duty 4. We will be transitioning to HAZE prior to its release. We have a core group of about 10 members, and many more join on a game to game basis.

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY:
The Mob Clan vastly prefers utilizing this concept. For this reason, we like to keep what some consider a smaller sized roster of 25 members or less. This allows our community to become very closely knit. Everyone knows eachothers strengths and weaknesses, everyone knows eachothers personality, and everyone knows what they need to do in order to build a strong team-oriented enviroment. By "qaulity" players, we mean two things: talent and dedication. The first side of the coin is of course you have to be an asset to the clan skill wise. Since we are a competitive clan, it is important to us that we feel the clan is better of with you than without you. If we feel you don't bring enough skill level to the table, we probably wont have interest. However, that is only one side of the coin. The other side, which is probably even more important, is that we feel you add to the clan community. A skilled player is usless to us if they aren't willing to engage with the other members of the clan. We seek players that embrace the concept of teamwork and are completely willing to take an active role behind the scenes.

SKILL DIVERSITY & PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
One really nice thing about the Mob Clan is that we don't expect you to be an expert right of the bat. Some people take time to adjust to differnt games that are vastly differnt in play style. Our concern is not where you begin, but rather where you can end up. We are more than willing to work with you and help you improve. Most people are able to greatly improve their skill level after a few weeks of playing with the elite members of the clan. That being said however, for some it becomes apparent that their skill is not improving over time, and they are not able to "learn" how to be an effective player. If we feel you do not have a capacity to improve we will not ask you to join. Aside from the people who aren't able to improve, we have a spot in the clan for a variety of differnt skill levels. Essentialy there are three tiers within the clan. The first tier is the gamebattles roster. These are the elite members of the clan capable of competing at the highest level. These players show exemplary skill and dedication. The second teir within the clan is gamebattles backups. These are the players who are just not quite good enough to represent the clan on a consistant basis, but are more of an asset than playing short-handed. These players will be asked to step up in the event that someone is unable to make a game, which happens quite a lot. The third tier of members are not involved with gamebattles. That is not to say the door has been closed on them, we just need them to improve before we let them represent the clan. Thrid teir members still play, give input and practice, they just don't battle until we feel they're ready to make the jump. I should also note that one can fall down this ladder just as fast as one can climb it.

STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT:
The Mob Clan takes great pride in our ability to discuss with our community various strategic and tactical concepts. We have an open forum where our members can come up with new ways at being successful. After something is analysed, put into practise, and is discovered to work, the clan the makes it part of the official strategy. Anything that is included in our official strategy is expected to be followed. It is like our rules of engagment if you will. It is a big advantage to be able to identify a problem, engage in communal dialouge, and then through trial and error come up with new ways to tackle to the problem.

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT:
In every profession, practice is essential to ensure success. Gaming is no differnt. Look at football for example, they practice an entire week for a three hour game. We do the same thing. Every week we hold practices at various times. Even though there might be a practice every single night, you will only be asked to attend a portion of them. We use these practices to build teamwork and learn eachothers strengths and weaknesses. In the past we discovered that the style of regular play and gamebattles play is quite differnt. The practices are essential to our preperation.

GAMEBATTLES:
For those of you that don't know, gamebattles.com is a third party website which offers competitve clans a place to play. Recently it has been bought by MLG, major leauge gaming, the only professional gaming organization in the world. Now there are tons of cash prizes up for grabs. It works like anything else. There is a regular season which last three months, followed by a playoff period for the top 16 clans. These top 16 clans can litteraly make thousands of dollars. That is our goal. We will strive to be a top clan and live the dream... getting paid to play video games. It takes an insane amount of effort in order to achieve that level of greatness, and its a challenge we welcome.

This topic should be sticky'd. Why is there an "Ask A Question" sticky, AND a "Frequently Asked Questions" sticky? This is the only game I have ever seen that hasn't dedicated an entire forum to clans alone... for the love of god at least sticky this topic!

anyone from Portugal for a portuguese clan? or at least from europe?
I am not an intensive player, maybe only 2-3 hours a day and I'm not a sniper, I prefer AR but still can be precise at mid-long range.

siCK is a growing clan for online games on the PS3.

We are currently a COD4, AOT, TRSV2, GTA4, HAZE, MGS4, and Resistance 2 clan.
