I am unable to get any game sound from my 5.1 surround sound setup. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

I have tried changing the optical cable and still no sound but i get sound in other games and XMB.

With Haze, or all games?

My surrond sound (5.1) works fine. Did you check all of your connections ? maybe there's a frayed wire of unplugged end.

I run my sound to a DD 5.1/DTS amp via optical, and it works fine. I have heard a few problems with this kind of thing though, although I don't have any solutions I'm afraid. It might be worth trying straight HDMI output or analog if you can and see if it works then.
