Trophix (guy here on forums and my usual HAZE buddy) requested that I post what I told him about the ending of the HAZE campaign and things about a possible HAZE 2. So, here is what I said after he asked me about at the end when Merino calls the Mantel troopers animals:

"Remember Duvall calling them animals? It's ironic that Merino uses the same term. Perhaps he isn't any better than Duvall and Mantel. And what about the Corporation that formed and ran the troopers? Duvall was just a Sergeant. Who is the General? Better yet, who is the President of the Mantel Corporation? And how will Merino use the Nectar with his Promise Hand army? HAZE 2 is ripe for the picking. Up the graphics, fix the physics, and spend more money on everything. "

Yea lol thanks, now that leaves me and other people thinking if there will maybe be a Haze 2 Everyone please post your thoughts here so we can gather them together and see if there will be a Haze 2.

Oi, I really hope there is a sequel, Haze is underrated-big time in my opinion, I don't even need the multiplayer to keep myself entertained-the bots are pretty smart on my team and the opposing team, occasionally we'll go neck an neck, I'll have to step up a little more (sometimes get sloppy, right now I have a couple losses as a promise hand rebel, but no losses as a mantel trooper.)

But what I would really like to see, is for people to stop hyping things to over-godly standards as it ruins it in the end. But I would like to raise a question, anyone find it odd that Haze gets good scores anywhere OUTSIDE of the U.S.? I understand the U.S. is mostly in either Microsoft or Apples pocket as the standard IQ-which this has been proven-of an American citizen has steadily been declining, jee I wonder why.

Attention-Mongering News Channels (FOX News being the biggy.)

Outrageous-but often ignored and never dealt with besides a little slap on the wrist people. (Jack Thompson, Chris Crocker, need I go on?)

No actual national ethnics or morales, the most we have is the 'Bible' which doesn't teach much considering nowadays the priest will pass off whatever they please (or the parent will) as 'rule/act of god.' and people just bite most of the time.

This is why-I'll say it again, I want to move out and live in Japan or Korea. I'm not gonna breed the next generation of the good ole' failing US of A.

But I digress, my point being that Haze deserves a 7-8 at the least as a national average(which it pretty much has outside of the US) however it gets a straight 9.3 from me because I'm loving it more than COD4.

Last rebuttle, anyone seen a guy with a timesplitters avi lurking around? He seems to be particularly whiney, for some reason I think he wants TimeSplitters to be ressurrect and takes Haze as a 'DANGER TO TIMESPLITTERS' or something. Well last little note, I don't trust popular media like X-play, or reviewing sites like GameSpot and IGN, I only trust the people's opinions.

Oh yeah, gonna tell my friend Samantha to see if she can get her friend to rent Haze, not gonna tell him to buy-just rent to see if he likes it.

Bit of spoilers, but we're in a spoilerific thread anyway, so I imagine the warning is a bit redundant.

There's a lot of comparisons between Duvall and Merino throughout the game.

They both give you the same "emotions are just chemicals!"

They both insist on killing defenseless people (the Copper Plant vs. the Land Carrier)

They both use the "they're just animals!" lines.

It doesn't help that in the end, Merino talks about how he plans to start using nectar on his own troops.
