Hey folks,
I think with the kind of reviews kicking around Free Radical, after their next two games, should bounce back with a Haze 2 (if the story allows it). I think the game looks decent, the demo was good, and I think with the delays a lot of sites were out with a vendetta against the game, which isn't fair really. I'm sure they had their reasons, and unfortunately, a lot of people went over the top with their reviews (IGN especially, read their Preview to show how much they went back on what they praised). I'm looking forward to this game, and don't need a bunch of crappy game sites to tell me what to enjoy and not enjoy. |

I read somewhere that Free Radical said that there wouldn't be any more Haze since the ending from what they said didn't make one. They said they wanted to go straight back with Timesplitters 4 and some other games. But who knows, hopefully there will be but first we need to or atleast I need to see the ending and whole plot in the game to judge that

(sigh) reviewers don't tell you what and whatnot to enjoy, they are simply giving their opinion on the thing - take it for what it's worth. Regardless, you can't deny that the general consensus is that Haze is terrible at worst and mediocre at best. You're just kidding yourself if you think there is negative Haze biasness affecting review scores. Wake up. Haze actually does in fact, Suck. |

The last the devs have said is that they don't rule a sequel out, but that they have no immediate plans. They do have two other games in development at the moment though, so I'd say they're busy enough.

Well to be honest I really hope there is a Haze 2 somewhere down the road, I think the last time I was this hyped when going into Gamestop was when I was buying my PS3, and buying Heavenly Sword. But this game let me down a hair but its nowhere a failed game cause people may look into it as a rent or buying at a discount price.
Maybe if we can get enough people to hound Free Radical they'll put out a 2 (well lets give them a year or 2 before we go to that extreme!). |

its all about money, if the game becomes a big seller even with the bad reviews it's very likely it will get sequel after some time.
But they are in pretty tough sitsuation right now, no matter what some players say ppl usualy listen to reviews and fanboys laugh at games with low scores. Its hard to sell a game that many fanboys just diss around. (and with demo that doesnt really tell too much from the real game, maybe it should have been a multiplayer demo? or from some other level atleast, the first is the worst) Hopefully free Radical wont be trying the easy way out from this and make Timesplitters Wii only. Since this will without probably give them an image as game developers that "cannot do next gen games" |

First of all, after playing the game for about 4 hours last night, I found it to be quite enjoyable. It's not COD4, but it is a nice co-op multiplayer game. After reading the reviews,I would have thought the game was going to be terrible. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion obviously, but if you enjoy co-op online games...I would recommend giving it a try. It is much better than the reviews give it credit for. They say GTA IV is a 10 and I am already bored with it. So what do they know anyway? |
