It did not sound to me like he disliked the game atlest.
He mostly seemed to talk about that there are many things that you can find in most sci-fi fps games. He often seems to say in his reviews that he wants games to be original. He did not say that the game was bad like he have done many other games. I agree that the game is short but except for that and a few other small things i love Haze and think its one of the most fun games i have played in a long time. Best co-op mode ever made.  |

well obviously know nothing about yahtzee.. He is one of the most critical reviewers out there.. Compared to his other vids haze got a good one from him
He basically was saying its not the best game out there but it does offer a few new things which make it an ok game  |

No he wasn't. He specifically said it contains nothing new, that the Nectar mechanics are pointless, the story doesn't work, and that it's only worthwhile if you're interested in wasting your money. When the only positive comparison in a review is to Turok, you're not doing well. |

It depends on how you look at it.. he never said anywhere its a bad game he hinted at it either way and obviously all the haters are going to jump one way...
On another note why are you here? are your balls filling up and this is your only way to get off? nobody cares whether you bash this game or not.. and dont give me the "well obviously you care!" because i dont i only came in to point out a fact Dont quote me again coz it will just prove my point that you can only get off by arguing on a forum. get a life. |

He mentioned every single criticism that other reviews have gone into: that it's short, unimaginative, poorly plotted, graphically subpar and has gimmicks that don't have any real impact on gameplay. Like almost every other review, he concluded it to be grindingly average and only worthwhile if you have money to burn and live in mortal fear of trying anything new. The fact that Haze isn't actively, aggressively bad like Turok or Turning Point: Fall of Liberty doesn't mean it's good.
Yes, nobody cares about discussion, which is why there's a discussion board. That makes all kinds of sense.

I agree with LoveAnimation. He seemed to go quite easy on it. Rather positive compared to the rest of his reviews. This was one of his more positive

But it also contained none of the praise his other reviews do when a game actually does something right. He made it clear from the start and throughout that Haze is a completely mediocre game with nothing to recommend it at all, and concluded that it was only worth it if you had money to burn. |

I just watched the review. I come away from it feeling the reviewer is pretty bored with most fps games these days, that haze takes a lot of ideas from other games, notably halo, that the maps are inspired by other games, but not as pretty looking... and the vehicles steer badly just like Halo... and if that all sounds good and you feel like throwing some money into that sort of thing, go buy it.
More positive, less negative, whatever. I give two sh*ts. I bought haze cuzthe story sounded intriguing, the demo looked pretty good to me, I was getting bored of Unreal, had no interest in playing a game propagating killing middle easterners, and definitely wanted splitscreen online/offline multiplayer functionality with bots, etc. So it fit the bill for me, I have been very happy with the purchase... |
