Remember you or not. The first HAZE teaser, when soldiers weren't yellow yet is some kind og history. I've heard a tumor, that original HAZE is going after in time than that taeser. Maybe we'll not see a continue of the story (but i think we will, and we will fight against rebels), but we can see a history.

Like i think i said before lots of people play this online all the time it seems to to me it seems lots of people bought the game.

I own many other unpopular games sand on most of them it became difficult finding people to play with really fast after the games came out but theres still lots of people playing Haze online and many more than any other games that get bad reviews.

I really hope the game is getting good enough sales for them to concider making a sequel.

Yea i guess thats true. Smile
When the first Killzone came out most people hated it and i think it got lots of bad reviews.
When people talk about Killzone 2 i hear people say Killzone 1 sucked all the time.
I liked it and dont understand why people hate it so much.
If Killzone could get a second chance i really hope Haze could get one.
They seem to be trying to greatly improve Killzone 2 and fix the stuff people complained about in the first game so hopefully they could do the same with Haze 2.
Lots of people still play Haze online all the time and its very easy to find people to play with so i hope the sales for Haze are good enough for them to consider a sequel.

Now I dont think people have thought about this.

You saw all of the little trailers they gave. You saw all of the artwork and the story etc. All of that was great and really made me think this would be the next HALO.

But think about it. HAZE 1, it didnt really tell you much about the world. Only you went to fight against some rebels. No big city battles or anything. And the fact that you only are a mantel trooper for a small period.

This game, and i am almost certain, will have a follow up. There are so many ideas there that this could be huge. The developers will be sitting there thinking, we all know we got HAZE wrong. HAZE 2 will show to the full.

Many people here have said HAZE is only one game to test there systems for Timesplitters 4. Then why was there so much hype for the game. Why did the developers put so much effort into previews, trailers, art etc. (I hope your still with me!)

I have know idea what will happen now, but im sure that free radical wont forget about the great ideas and oppertunity for this game. I really wouldnt care if they left HAZE 2 for the PS4 for goodness sake. (i wud no prefer it that long tho lol)

P.s. before I go, I would just like to say, I HOPE ALIENS COME AND REPLACE THE PROMISE HAND! because it gives the game a bigger picture and even more oppertunity. But the mantel troopers must stay, they are awesome and I credit the developers for making such a character. Smile

I suggest you dig it up again and watch it: all that material was discarded after the game's plot was re-written. Among other things, it gives Shane a completely different backstory; earlier versions also have totally different trooper armour, using grey as the primary colour and looking more like the suits from the movie Starship Troopers.

I don't believe it was thrown out like you claim. From the beginning it always looked like a game where you joined a companies army to fight the good fight even though there was something more sinister going on with the company.

Just cause they redesigned costumes doesn't prove you right

Shane's original backstory was that his parents were killed when he was young and the world was a violent place, to the point it was statistically unlikely he would live to be an adult. He joined 'Mantle' [it wasn't Mantel back then] because he felt he had nomeans of surviving without them, and because they were basically the only force for order in the world. In the final story he's a college student from a happy family who joined up because he read about bad things happening in the world.

He was originally 'set free' in a city, on patrol with another soldier; a pair of rebels kill the other guy, slash the tube from his administrator and smash the faceplate of his helmet. No Teare, no administrator failures, nothing. It was completely different, and probably would have worked much better than the final script.

I disagree i think COD4 was awesome but haze is definately better. Id rather just have more epansion packs and other DLC than a sequel and a few extra weapons couldnt hurt could it?

yea the trailers had almost nothing to do with the actual game.

that would be a good idea for the sequel which they should make for FRD to redeem themselves

i think they got enough sales due to the hype, but after they purchased the game most buyer regret it, so many glitches maybe it is much better to polish the current game before making a sequel. right now they can't even support their servers all the leaderboard and online stats was screwed-up. this is not the first time they reset the leaderboard and online stats. coming soon HAZE will RIP.

I suppose Haze will never get a sequel now because Free-Radical Design is having big problems and possibly will be no more soon. Frown

Yesterday when i played Haze online there was still a long list of games you could join so it seems to me many people liked the game and are still playing it online after all this time.

If most people really do think that Haze really sucks like it often seems on the internet then should not most people that got it have gotten rid of it by now?
Feels like extremely few people should be playing this online since people hate it so much but no lots of people are still online most of the time.
Maybe the game is more popular then we think?

I got many unpopular games where it was extremely hard to find people to play with even when the games where new.

I really hope they are not planning to shut down the Haze Online because its of the most fun online games i have ever played and i still play it often.
I love the co-op mode so much so i hope i will be able to still play it for a long time.
