I don't care about the sales. This game is so good and has so much potential that the developers just have to make a sequel, or at least an update like Capcom did with Lost Planet for the 360. Every review I read stated that HAZE could be a fantastic game if some of the issues were addressed.

Actually, which all the hype around Haze, if the sales are not good enough for the first game, the sales for an improved sequel will surely make up lost earning on the first one.

Yea if they fixed most of the things people complain so much about i think people would not bash the game as much as they do.
Its been a while since Haze came out now and since so many people say they hate the game all the time i tought that many people that bought the game probably would get rid of it or sell it when Metal Gear Solid 4 came out but when i played Haze yesterday a huge bunch of people where playing and there where lots of games you could join so it seems lots of people are buying Haze and enjoy it. I really hope the sales for Haze are really good so they can consider making a Haze 2. |

Well, Haze has already been moved to the bargain bin at GameStops.
This could either mean that sales are going horribly and Ubisoft is trying to toss away the ball before getting tackled. OR It could mean that they're attempting to appeal to low-budget customers in an attempt to sell the most copies. When every brand new game on the shelf is $60, and Haze is fairly new at only $45, some people would rather try it out for a cheaper price than dish out $60 just to try something else. Overall, though, it just depends on if the developers think it's worth continuing. As long as sales keep steady, it's definitely possible, but it all depends on what they decide. But if they do decide to keep going, they're going to have to work their butts off to make up for the issues of this game. One mediocre game is forgivable. But two mediocre games are a mark of shame branded on your forehead. Haze 2 would have to be something along the lines of a system-seller. |

I dont think a sequel would have to be a so good so its a system seller because the first game got some bad reviews but it sure would have to be really good.
I heard they lowered the price for Assassins cred very fast after it got released and that game got very good sales. I found this site where it seems to say about how good the sales for Haze has been http://www.thesimexchange.com/stock.php?id=326 Dont know exactly how much a new game should have sold to be getting good sales so is it good? |

When you completed the game if you listened to the last cutscene, Merino was talking about using Nectar for himself. If you ask me, this means there will definately be a sequal to HAZE, especially considering the way Carpenter acts all worried about it.

Doubt it it hasn't done well outside the UK
|

there is potential for a sequel, as the ending of the story suggests so, but the sales have been low. already a price cut after a couple weeks? the game is good, but if its not selling well, then there is no need for a sequel

So you mean that the sales it says Haze got on this site here is bad?
http://www.chart-track.com/index.jsp?c=p/software/uk/la...x_test.jsp&ct=110015 I dont know how much a game must sell to be a success. Well like i said before lots of people play online all the time so it seems many people bought it and are enjoying it. Yesterday all the co-op and multiplayer games i hosted got full really fast everytime and i played almost the whole evening. I tought that most people probably would get rid of Haze now that Metal Gear Solid 4 is out because on the internet it seems most people hate Haze but theres still lots of people that play online so it seems to me many people like it. |

Stop there, you obviously are very drunk and/or delusion, now think about it Haze actually a good game? The answer you're looking for is "no". P.S if there is a God there will be no sequel |
||||

I'm pretty sure there won't be a sequel this person confirmed it in another thread.

Thanks for your support Johnny, for a moment there I thought you were against me. |

I would like to see a sequel if it would be a good game; Dave Doak lied enough about Haze....
If there was a sequel then i doubt it would sell because many people were disappointed with this game, this is why i feel there is a slim chance of it occurring. |

Yes i actually do think Haze is a good game because i play it almost everyday. The 4-player co-op mode is the most fun co-op mode i have ever played in a fps game and the multiplayer is very fun too. I dont understand why people like you hate Haze so much. Do you only follow reviews blindly or what is it about Haze that makes so many people hate it? The only two things i dont like about the game is that the game is short and that the graphics are kinda bad by todays standards. The gameplay in Haze is lots of fun. People seem to concentrate to much on little things you dont think about that much if a game is fun. In my opinion Haze is a awesome and very underrated gam. GTA4 got great reviews and i have not finished that game yet but i have not played that game since i got Haze. |

Don't listen to liquid, he keeps posting weird comments. The reason i am not to fond of haze is because i expected more (i suppose others who were disappointed feel the same). I think i have come to expect more because of games such as COD4. Although i shall not lie; i did enjoy the game play; and the story to a certain extent, but i personally lost interest rather early when playing online. Maybe i would have remained more interested if there were leaderboards, unlocks and more weapons etc. It just seems to me that the game is incomplete; especially as we are in the age now with games such as GTA and MGS being released and with more promising titles approaching in the future (Killzone 2, Fallout 3, Res 2). Thus eliminating the possibility for a sequel, unless its able to compete with stronger titles. |

i feel we haven't seen the last of haze i think we'll see a sequel this first game i believe was a test that scored rather well.

I hate that many people now seem to think that all games must have fantastic graphics or do some original things to be a good game today.
Sure its great when games with wonderful graphics and original gameplay comes out but its not like a game must have those things to be good. There is nothing original about Haze and the graphics are bad by todays standards but it got great gameplay and is lots of fun to play so it annoys me that so many people are only interested in the biggest games now. Many people seem to only be interested in the most popular games that get the most attention today. Dont get me wrong i love MGS and GTA and other big games but all games dont need to be that big to be worth buying. |

Haze could use a ground-up remake, not a sequel. As it is, we're in a ludicrous world ruled over by one of those videogame corporations that doesn't need to do anything that would actually make money, we have a drug that makes people see the world as perfect which makes them eat babies for some stupid reason, and a cast of cliched and silly characters. Making a sequel to this is very much building a house on sand.
|

I think it will get a sequel, not due to the fact of sales because the game does have huge potential in story telling wise and now that some of the developers are really getting to grips with the PS3(ie. look at KillZone 2 in game for example). I can see free Radical given another chance.
