I have been thinking of getting a PS3 again but I have to have a game that is an exclusive that makes my mind up but no games apeal enough..

Just so everybody is clear shortly afte MGS4 is releaced there is supposed to be annother price drop on the PS3 making the cheepest price for it $299 (USD)

As for Crysis - Incorrect, bith consoles couldn't handle it according to the makers and it's not coming out for any console.
Although if you ask me that's rubbish, since both consoles are more powerful than a PC that could run Crysis.

PS3 is -NOT- better than Xbox360 performance wise, I think PS3 had better memeory or something like that but the Xbox matches it with a better graphics card than the PS3 (Shock, horror - but it's true) remember that everytime a developer releases preview movies of a game they're ussualy streaming it on a beast of a computer, and it's always polished up - so don't judge PS3/Xbox games before you play them... Half of them won't look half as good

ok what rik has said is stupid because i know a PC that has better graphics and technology than ps3 and xbox 360 put together go on alienware.com thats the make. as a owner of ps3 and 360 i agree with others that haze should go on 360 but i also want it to stay on ps3 due to its ment to be the competitor for halo3 on the 360. and from playin the demo it beats halo by far. but trust me dnt care wat u think they wont be bringin it out for the 360 console i have been looking into this game since it was announced last november when i first pre-ordered it. sorry for the essay but wanted to clear tht out for 360 fans

oh i would also like to add sorry for not writing with full punctuation but i can't be arsed lol. and it was only said to come out on the 360 console from stores only ubisoft have never announced it to come out on the 360 that was just a rumour, and some people need to get their facts right.(people telling you in stores that it might be out for 360). it may be out at a later date but because they havent released any info on it even i dont know that lol so i still do not think it will be out for 360

Of course it is! This certain forum is about a PS3 exclusive game! At least, for now....

What an interesting thread. I think I'll throw my 2 cents in, hehe.

I used to be a 360 owner, but after I got a PS3, I traded my 360 in. Why? More exclusives I care about are on the PS3. Bluray. Not paying $50 per year to play online. Wireless internet adaptor built into the system, so no need to shell out another $100 for an adaptor like with the 360. More unique downloadable games on the PSN as opposed to the XboxArcades ho-hum downloadable games (in my opinion at least). And while having both consoles at the same time for a while, I felt that I enjoyed the PSN community more than the 360 community. Maybe it was because of less immaturity and kids, I don't really know.

I remember an earlier comment on the 360 having better online service. Well, there are differences in how the user interface is set-up, but other than that, they are pretty similar to me. And for those complaining about not having an ingame XMB, its coming soon. Oh, and whenever HOME arrives (darn the delays), it will be FREE! Yahoo!

And about the exclusives. Personally, the top two exclusives on the 360 are Gears of War 1 & 2, Halo 3, and... I can't think of another. Mass Effect, Too Human, and Banjo 3 you say? Sorry, they just don't interest me. And yes, I've played Mass Effect. And what exclusives are on the PS3 that won me over to the PS3 side? Resistance 1 & 2, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, Metal Gear Solid 4, HAZE, Warhawk, and Final Fantasy XIII. And those are just announced exclusives I'm very interested in. So, as you can see, when I weigh the differences, with what exclusives I like being the main reason, I think I win out.

As for HAZE on 360... well, I wouldn't be surprised if down the line it did come out for 360. But, everytime a console gets an exclusive, there's always fanboys of the other console(s) that want their fair share. I mean, I'm hoping it's true that Bioshock is coming PS3 side come September. That would be nice. And I'd flip out if Gears of War came to the PS3. But, that won't happen, and I don't mind sacrificing one exclusive for several others. If I score a buncha money at some point, maybe I'll get a 360 again. But, right now, I'm happy where I'm at.

I hope this doesn't go to the 360..just because the 360 holds the ps3 back..That dev doing the ghostbuster game said they can do much more with the ps3 but since the game is multi plat they have to make it like the 360 version. I bet that goes with alot of these games that go multi plat.

Each system should have their own exclusives keep Haze on the ps3.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, as long as the PS3 gets it, I don't care where it goes beyond that. But, per Rob Yescombe...it's not going to the 360, so the point is moot.
