I was going to make this into a poll, but then I remembered that half of the guys here are immature and would vote "no" just for the heck of it.

So, in the spirit of good conversation and the fact that I still hope I won't have to go out and pay 300 pounds for a new machine just to play a game I've been waiting for since being announced...


Everyone put their own input, in words - what they think should happen with Haze.
Obviously this does not mean Ubisoft will do anything, but it's nice to hear a gamers point of view every now and then.


Me? theres three major reasons why I personally think Haze should be released on the 360 as well.

1) Ever since I heard it's coming for the 360, I was interested - the momen't it was taken off the map I was disappointed. Ubisoft is not owned by Sony and I think they should release everything on all platforms (That can handle it, obviously)...

2) I don't want to spend 300 pounds on a console to play a game I like - I never had my hopes up for Killzone, because I knew we'd never get it. But Haze was announced for 360 as well.

3) Quite frankly, I think the 360 online play is better, and it's no shame for PS3 - They've got Bluray and 360's got online.


That's all for me really, obiviously it won't make much of a change but you can always hope :P

I think you're likely to get partisan views here anyway - obviously PS3 owners aren't likely to care much, and any PS3 'supporters' may not want it to go to the 360 for whatever reason. Any 360 or PC owners will want it to go to their respective systems, (and Wii owners as well of course ).

I'd also point out that Ubisoft is publishing Splinter Cell: Conviction on 360 but not PS3, (at this time at least). Some would call that a fair swap?

Anyway, speaking completely unofficially, (I'm not a Ubisoft employee anyway), I personally would expect to see Haze come to the PC and 360 at some point in the future, for what that's worth.

I would point out though that for many other titles there really is only one option: if you want the game, buy the system.

You guys are just mad cause you don't have Haze
on your console. Quite frankly I think think its funny as I mentioned earlier. Plus Ubisoft put it on ps3 only cause they know,I know and you Know Ps3 is the better system.

I agree, I don't see why it shouldn't be released on PS3 (But as I mentioned earlier, Ubi makes the calls and their reasons remain mysterious for the time being :P)

I never liked that in consoles... Unless it's published/made by Sony or Microsoft I don't really understand why not release it on multi-platforms.

I like Xboxes, I like Wii's and like PS3's...
Sadly I can only affored two of the latter and PS3 isn't one of them, for the time being at least :P One day I shall have bluray goodness...


Anyhow, I still have my fingers crossed for Haze on multi-platforms.

I wouldnt mind having haze released on the 360. Even though we need an exclusive. But I dont really like paying for online play.

Well, beyond it's release in May, I would truly like it to be released on the PC for the simple fact that I enjoy FPS' on PC's far more than on console. Beyond that, I don't really care where it goes... it's not my call...but I'm not going to get all pissed off if it goes to the 360... Would benefit FRD more if it did anyway.

I wouldn't mind if Haze came out on the 360 as the PS3 already has some great exclusives like R&C FTOD . Then again i always find it fun to watch some xbox fanboys view change from loving Haze to finding out its a PS3 exclusive and saying its a terrible game. lol.

There is also the possiblity that the 360 cannot handle the technology the game out puts such as graphics etcetera YES THIS IS POSSIBLE. For instance Crysis is releasing to the PS3 Console only. this is because of, simply put, the 360 console cannot handle it. If you think im lieing check it out for yourself. Im not trying to start a console war here because everyone has their reason for buying whatever console they bought and this forum would go haywire. ^_^
Its also nice that another game isn't being stolen by the 360 like devil may cry 4. But of course theres always Metal gear solid 4 and final fantasy 13 and resistance 2 ta look fwd to.

you guys think if haze going to come in xbox360 now the 360 fans goin to insult us really bad because haze suppose to be PS3 because what about halo 3.... isn't in PS3 so think about that PS3 with his haze and xbox360 with his halo3 two consola one best shooter game on one console is going to be cool if going to be xbox360 PS3 going to lose and I really like PS3 and play his games and cool games

oh yeah and I put this coment on my PS3 and sorry to talk bad english I just learning english for 3 years so is hard to me to put every word correctly and no offense about console war I just like haze on PS3 only is like my halo 3

Halo is a microsoft own produced game - just like Killzone is for Sony. my whole argument is that Ubisoft isn't owned by either companies so it shouldn't release exlusives for either consoles.


As for Crysis - Incorrect, bith consoles couldn't handle it according to the makers and it's not coming out for any console.
Although if you ask me that's rubbish, since both consoles are more powerful than a PC that could run Crysis.

PS3 is -NOT- better than Xbox360 performance wise, I think PS3 had better memeory or something like that but the Xbox matches it with a better graphics card than the PS3 (Shock, horror - but it's true) remember that everytime a developer releases preview movies of a game they're ussualy streaming it on a beast of a computer, and it's always polished up - so don't judge PS3/Xbox games before you play them... Half of them won't look half as good

Let's not turn this into a 360-PS3 technology discussion. Nobody knows the complete PS3 spec, both systems are different and complex beasts and since game development is about hardware implementation, not chips, it can't lead anywhere and is liable to just degenerate into flaming.

And considering that Free Radical originally announced Haze for PS3, 360 and PC, I wouldn't imagine - even with it now only on the PS3 - that they would have done anything that would mean it would be impossible on the 360.

Correction both consoles have CPU's that are more than capable of handling Crysis. Both consoles, however, lack a Dx10 capable card, and RAM.

What we will see from Crytek, is a 'version' of Crysis, using the a CryEngine 2 that's optimised for both console. Will it look anywhere near the glory of a full DX10 PC w/ Dual overclocked 8800GT's running SLI w/ 4g of Dominator RAM overclocked and a Quad-Core Intel overclocked to 2.7ghz (My dad's current setup). No. The systems just do not have the horsepower in the graphics dept to do it.

Keep in mind that console Ram is dedicated ram, so it's more useful

Granted, but that usefulness can only go so far. Again, you know, you're talking 4g of CPU RAM + the Onboard RAM of the 2 8800 cards. That's more than enough to compensate for the OS' use of CPU RAM. That and the fact that all PC games require installation, not just one or two. So, that allows developers far more freedom to utilizing HDD's AND RAM, when necessary.

The 360 people will never learn will they, the game is not going to be for 360, because HAZE has a huge amount of graphics, PS3 can handle it, 360 will over heat as soon as they play it for about 20 mins of gameplay, just go away and close all topics that has 360 people begging for HAZE to come to their consoles.
We are getting the game, and your not, simple, just stop talking about it over and over and over again.

Please don't turn this into a my console is better than yours discussions G257. That wasn't the OP's intent, and the mods have already requested we not do that.
