I really can't believe that ppl are giving so much credence to a review! Are ppl so stupid that they can't even trust their own judgement or something? I mean, is it like "err, I can't buy that because someone that I don't know has made a completely subjective decision about it" or is it a case of "I read it on the internet so it must be true"?

Come on, grow up - have the guts to make your own mind up! Buy it, enjoy it - then you will find out that you can make your own minds up!

I have to say that I really enjoy playing the demo - the graphics are what they are and here's just a thought - nectar makes the world look different, it makes it look 'fluffy and nice', maybe, just maybe the surprise will be seeing the world (in the game!) through the eyes of an untainted rebel who sees it for what it is?!

The only criticism I have for the demo is not about the gameplay or the graphics, it is for the noobs who insist on making you overdose deliberately! I haven't yet played with anyone who has been serious about getting through it, just idiots who shoot or hit the nectar dispensor - how f***ing funny, wish I'd thought of that!

Anyway, sorry to the majority of ppl on here who are still committed to the cause, I don't mean to paint a broad brush over everyone, just fed up of reading comments about selling PS3's based on a poxy review of Haze by some muppet from IGN or wherever.

Also please remember they are saying by their scale that Haze is WORSE than Lair. That steaming Pile of Poop received a 4.9

Lost Odyssey got low reviews, yet it was a good game... I believe Haze will be a lot better and more fun to play than LO...

Reviews aren't worth the Kb's they take up in the "journalist's" Hard Drive. Almost without fail, I have disliked many of the games that have been given great scores... and I know alot of people adore GTA, but 10/10 for GTA4, not even Gears got that, and Gears was the game that made EVERYONE'S NECK SNAP when they saw it, and no 10 for that, but, oh ya, Zelda got a 10, give me a break (and I understand alot of people love Zelda too, but c'mon, where are the standards).
The last time I listened to reviews was back when Shadowrun came out for 360 (which I sold last year for a PS3, lol). Shadowrun was bashed in much the same way as Haze is now... the graphics were said to be **** simply because legs didn't move when going up ladders, but when balancing this against seamless play over both 360 and PC's (which all have different specs unlike consoles), I certainly was not bothered at all by the ladder animations, and I thought the game looked good, if you ask me. Well that game was given horrible scores all 'round, and I bought it anyway, first day, hesistantly because of the reviews but the lead-up to the game with the classes, tech, flying, etc, and cross platform online gaming, that I took the chance on it, thinking it might have been a mistake.

Shadowrun rocked! It was the absolute most fun game I played on Xbox Live, WAYYY better than Halo3 which I am sad to say I pre-ordered well in advance, and reviewers talked about that like it was the second coming... and Shadowrun got like a 5 out of 10 or something... So I sold the box and got a PS3... and just the create your own theme/icons, music icons, web browser (which I use steady... checking my gmail within 2 seconds of powering up the PS3 is a dream, no sitting in front of a computer waiting for windows to boot up just to check an email or to check on my Bluejays next game), and a $17 bluetooth headset versus $70 official Xbox wireless headset just can't be beat, I hate xbox now, and I was a fanboy... but I digress.

Point is, they say alot of games that I thought were awesome were bad, and games I thought bad were awesome... so take reviews with a grain of salt and use your own judgement and don't listen to a guy that may have wrote his review after his dorky girlfriend cheated on him with someone like me, lol, or right after a bunch of high tech big money PC rig games, that make the graphics in the next game look bad, etc., etc.

Reviewers are human, and YES, reviewers are alot of the times FANBOYS as well. Alot also just assume that every PS3 game will look bad, etc., because all the other ones before it were, and the bias is already there. After a couple years of really bad ports that are just sent over to the PS3 from the 360 untouched and wonder why it looks bad running on one core instead of 360's 3 (because the game doesn't use the SPEs) running on 512k of cache instead of 360's 1Mb (because there aren't using the the local 256k of each SPE which well exceeds 1Mb between them)... so ya... they EXPECT PS3 games to look worse, play worse, be more glitchy.. and so they find it wherever they look, because they are looking for it. Alot of these guys don't even realize that they are 360 fanboys, because they feel they have proof that 360 is better, and sorry to say, but they have a point... developers are only now starting to code properly for the the PS3's attributes, because if you run a PS3 game like you did on the 360, the PS3 WILL lose... The game needs to be made for what the PS3 does well, what it does that the 360 can't, and this only going to start happening when KZ2 and a few other first party exclusives spend the time and money to develop proper PS3 tools, once the tools are there, the games will ALL get better.

Did anyone talk about the ugly textures and low res of Halo3, of course not, because they were expecting and wanting an awesome Halo game... so that's what their bias googles showed them.

Judge for yourself, don't be a sheep, and if you don't like the demo, etc., don't buy the game, I hate having to listen to people cry over headsets like little girls with skinned knees about what a bad game it is while they're sitting there playing it.... Seriously, you don't like it but your playing it all day just to tell everyone how much it stinks... seriously.

To all those who aren't afraid of IGN (which I always thought their reviews were on par with Kotaku, with both belonging in the trash can), I'll see you on Thursday... I'll be the guy peeling all your caps back!

Well said....ign is biased. They gave assassins creed a 7.5 or 7.7, and it was a fun game. GTA4 had alot of flaws and it got a 10.
