Anyways Solid, why don't you just tell us who you work for and why your review hasn't been released to the public yet?

To be quite honest...I'll reserve my judgement of the final build of Haze, for when I have my copy in my hand next week. The only opinion on whether I'll enjoy a game or not that matters, is my own. You could be Rob Yescombe telling me that the game sucks, and I still wouldn't care. I'm just glad that the copy you have, was undoubtedly paid for in some way or another, so that FRD will still get paid

Btw, you're also leaving out that the MP maps also have map-based objectives...in addition to the DM, TDM and TA modes.

I do have the final build I said the retail copy is it not about being tough he called my hand and I called his bluff. The campaign is wonderful just hate that the graphics are not next gen again what reason does free radical have to justify the push back when you guys get your copies next week you will see

The actual review copy doesn't even have multiplayer (or it doesn't function yet - my friend said that there is no MP in the version he got)!! You are such a bad liar.

I don't believe you have HAZE copy in any form

If, and that is a big IF, you have the copy you must be the worst reviewer in history "THE GAME IS SOO BAD" (along those lines)

If there ends up being an MGS5 Solid Snake will be dead, and that link wasn't from 1up, I'd reconize a site I'm a member of anyware. And I agree with Klixx about Solid_Snake_170 not having the final version of Haze he may have the previous build which didn't live up to expectations, but I doubt Haze is bad since they've had so much time to tweek the flaws in the game.

But isn't it a little odd that there is such a large population of people who don't like it? I doubt that EVERY person who dislikes Haze could be a fanboy.

And also, since when has a game ever improved over the demo? The only one I know of was DiRT, and barely. Demos, despite the "this is not the final build" claims, are almost always a good representation of the final game.

I like the game, but I seriously doubt this game will be a success amongst the masses.

There couldn't be a MGS5, the S stands for Solid = Solid Snake, who is gonna die. Maybe another Metal Gear, but not Solid.

The demo was short. It didn't really give you a very good idea of how the game really is. It is a lot like smelling bacon being cooked. It smells great, but it isn't nearly as good as eating it. Another demo that totally blew, but the final game was leaps and bounds better was burnout paradise.

In a FPS one of the absolute biggest graphic qualities are set by the textures. Most of the time you are moving too fast to really take in a lot of intricate shapes. However the textures on the environments and on the character's hands/guns are a whole lot more noticeable. Textures are part of the pollishing process. Don't worry about it. What it comes down to is game play anyway

Also the stores near me have the game case and inside a small piece of plastic which fills in the disk spot... he could easily have placed that on a different game disk...

Red_9 - It's really not strange at all, people make snap judgements all the time...and Haze is one of them for some people. Those who actually are excited about Haze, know why they're excited for it, and the demo only reinforced that for them. Those who saw Haze merely as a Halo clone, saw it wherever they possibly could draw the parallel between the two, and discounted it immediately. Then there are those, as Ms Kleaneasy said, that just aren't all that excited for it. Either way, there's enough activity on this forum, and I'm sure over on the PS Shooter forums, that Haze will do quite well.

Wow I can’t believe this game is making such of big controversy within all of you PS3 owners and I am referring to the one console owners “which of course is the PS3”. I understand that ps3 owners can’t wait to see more games out for the ps3 and as soon as anything comes out the Sony hardcore forums go crazy with all kind of posts. First of all there are real copies of the retail version of haze out in retailer stores (I know a dude, that knows a due, that knows the dude’s cousin that he read somewhere) just kidding is my dude at Crapy City (store manager – big videogame junkie) and he told me that they already got boxes in, so it is possible that someone already played the retail version out there. Second of all is that I had over 12 people play the demo and they are very disappointed with the graphics and many do not see the reason for the nectar (although is the plot of the story), I know most of you are going to call me names and other things but I have to agreed the game is not all that, just another HALO clone game trying to introduced little things in the side to make gamers believe is the greatest thing. But knowing that the PS3 has disappointed the first generation of users (really hardcore ones) I know this game is going to be another turok or area 51, too much hype not enough delivered.

And for the record, I'm not dissapointed with my PS3 at all. I have great games on it, and used to have a 360. But, I switched over once I realized that there is no exclusive on the 360 that I like, and the PS3 has more exclusives that I DO like. It was an easy choice. Other than Gears of War (which I liked for about a month) and Halo 3 (which I did the beta for, but still found that Halo wasn't all that people had it cracked up to be, in my perception), there was nothing the 360 had for me that I couldn't enjoy on the PS3. And with the PS3, I didn't have to pay $50 a year for playing online, I didn't have to fork an extra $100 for wireless gaming, and I get a bluray player with my PS3. Frankly, I found the community on the PSN to be a good deal more mature than the 360 community I had become close to.

And lastly, I'd like to say that there are very few PS3 owners who are one-console owners. At least PS3 owners that I know online and in person. In my opinion, to get the full gaming experience this generation you need PS3+Wii or 360+Wii.
