I mean seriously most haven't even heard of it. Makes you wonder what the game would be like if people knew. Everytime i host games I run into this problem when I try to set up a domination map and lose over half my players. DOWNLOAD THE DOMINATION MAPS!! THERE FREE FOR GOODNESS SAKES!!

REASON: most of them playing it just for fun reason only casual gamers they just play once in awhile not a career like us. i bet you, everybody who's in this forum they have domination pack or even destruction pack so no need to ask it here. LOL

I've got it & have maybe played 5 games off of the DLC..

I guess you make a good point. Just in case some people come across these forums they will know. I posted the game site on my PSN Comment hoping to gather some more people here to the community. See If they get the point if they come. lol

stop having your little cat fight you two. back to the actual topic in this forum, the maps newer maps arent really all that special. im a big fan of city limits, thats about it for the free maps. boa bridge is too much area to cover with a few people, vista is too bright if you use nectar, and rolling thunder is actually better than land carrier. i like the night time effect

Back to topic- Most of the new maps, vista lejana, red dawn, etc give off a blinding glare when dosed on nectar, its almost as if its been added to give the rebels a fighting chance. And killing corridor, i found myself getting lost in there repeatedly, there are too many corridors. Whats so difficult about a downloading a 300mb file off of the PSN, its almost 1/3 of the size of an average game demo.

Stuey: maybe your download became corrupted somehow? Did you recieve a power outage recently? I hope you are running your electronics off of a surge protector; if not a sudden power surge can damage things like a hard disk drive...

I usually see 7 or so games of MML running, and maybe 1 or 2 of the Domination maps. I hardly ever see any Destruction maps in play, and since I don't have 'em yet I can't even join those...

The reason why is because the thing doesnt work,
We installed the pack and it didnt work on any of the new maps or anything.

Bit of a fail really, 313MB of nothing.

Maybe you could delete and try reinstalling it again. There's no reason you shouldn't have the free map pack (and no reason it shouldn't work for you).

The Domination pack is fully worth having; the Destruction pack has a few extra maps the other doesn't. But it isn't free...


The funny thing is since I enabled security on my wireless, I can't sign into PSN. However...when I started up Killzone 2 it automagically DL'ed the latest patch just fine??

And just last night I was messing with MGS4 and went into 'extras', and was able to DL iPod tunes and Camo Patterns without any problems!

But for whatever reason PSN blocks me everytime...4 weeks on and I still haven't gotten it to play nice...

Endlessly playing w/ the network settings but to no avail.

I have one question do you even know what the pack suppose to give you??

Just download Domination Pack, and buy the Destruction Pack if you can, I'm getting tired of playing the same old maps, and Destruction Pack maps are cool, but not enough people has it.

It would be cool if they made more maps too.

The Domination pack has 4 maps: Boa Bridge, City Limits, Vista Lejana, and a night verson of Land Carrier.

I like Boa the best, and City the least (it's way too big for the average player count, IMO)...

There's also a new multiplayer mode called Capture and Hold (basically it's capture the flag).


I don't have the Destruction Pack myself, but here is a description I found elsewhere on the 'net:

"The Destruction pack contains 7 maps, which are "Copper plant", "Shanty town tank", Beach, "Air support" and relit versions of "Nectar caves" (night), "Shanty town" (late evening) and "Missile launcher" (dawn). This pack also includes the additional game mode that was included in the previous one."
