is there a website or thread somewhere, where people can see what the future patches will be and new about how close solutions to problems are to completion. If not i think it would be a really good idea, it would quell a lot of frustration from player.

There is no thread yet for solutions to various problems, however solutions are being looked into as you can see from this post and when available, a thread will most probably be created in the forums.

In the meantime there is an unofficial patch thread which is taken into account as well.

Please look through it and post in there for now for anything related to this issue.
