A turret is an unmanned machine gun mounted on a tripod that will automatically shoot you if you pass in front of it's line of sight. The gun rotates back and forth making a whirring and clunking sound.
Actually, the gadget you need is called an OCP, not a DCP. To use it, get out your pistol, center it on the turret, and hold the left trigger. It should jam it and mess it up long enough for team mate to pass by it. Make sure you don't let go of the trigger until your team mate is out of the turret's line of sight. Once he is in position, he will do the same thing you just did so that you can pass without getting shot. Good luck.
