You do go back the way you came - your next destination is the elevator. Smile

If you have aquired the computer algorythm from the briefcase (or found it on one of the four servers you had to locate), then you can use the computer. When you do both of those the lights will come back on and you need to do as CoastalGirl suggests and move your bod up the rope.

Jzorro is 'mostly' correct. You don't go up the rope though.

Once you flip the switch it opens a panel, IIRC, and then you access the computer using the algorithm and Lambert warns you about the power coming back on and to get out of there.

Head to the right (as you face away from the console) and wait for the doors to open, then move forward and hop on top of the first set of servers. Wait for the patrolling guard to enter then leave the aisle ahead of you, then drop quietly and hop on top of the next server rack.

You should be able to easily continue towards and through the next set of automatic doors (two of them), then go out the final door - avoiding the guard here - and call the elevator to head up to the next floor (level 3).

I think you're right about it being Grim, been a while since I played that one.

I don't see how the vent is easier tho' as going out the doors put you right at the elevator that you need to go up to the next level, and most of the time if you do it quickly the guard patrolling there doesn't even notice you. Going via the vent requires you to avoid too many guards, unless you're KO'ing them all, LOL!

if we write these tips, that means the people who ask for them are not good enough to leave them alive

EDIT: oops, I forgot - it's a displace mission so not "alive" but "concious"
