Has anyone ever successfully opened up an edit class in SC3? I bound, for example, 'ea class=esam' to a key...and when I press it, the game obviously reacts to it, but when I right click, an press Alt+Enter, it doesn't go to window mode. And when I Alt+Tab, it just minimizes the game. Anyway, so have any of you been able to successfully edit class info while in game? I loved how we could edit in the first SC.
Also, I looked in the UT 2004 key binds, and to open up the console, the command was 'ConsoleToggle' ....but that didn't work in SC3...have any of you been able to open up a console where you can type commands (instead of binding)? I'm also very interested in objects I can summon...like summon echeloningredient.eoildrum would give you an oil drum (in the first and second SC's) ... but in SC3, it just spawns a krypton looking crystal. In previous versions, you could open the EchelonIngredient file in notepad, and see all the stuff you could spawn...but in SC3, the file is just a bunch of crazy characters when you open up in notepad. Any help is appreciated...and I had emailed ubi about the console and class editing thing, and they recommended to try asking here. |

Well I found out how to bring up the class modifier...
Make sure you bind ea class=esam or efn7 (pistol) or ef2000 to keys and remember them... then while in game, press the key that you bound...then press it again...then hit the right mouse button...it should go to the desktop... it probably won't let you move the mouse in the class modifier box...so right click on the minimized game, and then move the cursor into the modifier box, and click and drag to an appropriate part of the screen. Then EDIT AWAY! Increasing Sam's Jump Height is always fun (make sure you bound the invincible code...cause jumping really high and landing without the invincible code on could turn out to be tragic for Sam. Also it is fun to make the pistol fully automatic, with the fire rate as 0.000001, and give it a 5,000 ammo clip capacity. Also you can change the charge time of the OCP to like 0.000001 and never have to worry about the charge time. |
