IIRC, you access the panel which opens and then you have to access the main server. Be sure to make two tries at it (you may have to stand up to get the prompt, IDR). Lambert will chime in and say something about nothing being there, then a warning about power coming on and you need to hide/get out. This area has nothing to do with patches or virtual memory, unless you're getting some kind of error related to that...

It happens really fast, and you have to move quickly to avoid being spotted by two guards that come in. Have you done all your objectives up to this point? If you didn't retrieve the server access algorithm from earlier (in the briefcase carried by one of the guys, you have to remote hack it with your EEV), you won't be able to go any further.
I usually just turn away from the server and head to the right side of the room and when the glass doors open head to the first bank of electronics and climb on top. They can't see you there and then wait for one of them to patrol the aisle ahead of you. When he leaves is the perfect time to drop quietly and hop onto the next stack, drop down and head out of the room.

You need to have the algorythm first. You could have picked it up either at a certain computer/ server or the briefcase the guy was carrying around. Then you can access the computer down where you are.
