Can anyone help please i have been stuck for 3 days on this. Iam at the frist keypad made it through there thanks to warriorOflight but when i jump up on the bar that goes across to the other side i cant get the man at all. please please help and thanks for all of ya'll for the help.
One thing you could do is, while you are on the balcony, before you get on the bar with the chinese flag, use your SC-20k to shoot all the lights between you and the scanner. Once you cross, you should be in a big shadow. Wait for the soldier to enter the room before getting off the bar. When that happens, shoot the officer with a single ring airfoil round to the chest. This will stun him, and enable you to grab him and force him to open the scanner.
Funny- I was just replaying that level. Yes, you need to carefully shoot out all the lights on the bar. The big light in the middle may help too. Once at the other end you need to do a stealth drop behind the officer who can open the optical scanner. To do that, hit your drop button but also hit crouch before you reach the ground or he will hear you.
I tried that, but when I get off the bar, the distance to the ground seems so short that the stealth jump doesn't work. That's why I have to resort to the airfoil to grab the officer.
If you simply have too much problem mastering that 'stealth drop' in that location, there is another method:
You can draw your pistol while on the pipe (far enough away that he won't hear the shot) then shoot a light out such that the officer moves from his position to go investigate. Move over and drop down, do the 'back to the wall' maneuver and get into the corner. Be sure you're standing and not crouched. Once he returns, very slowly move behind him (while still 'on the wall'). Once there, come off the wall and immediately grab him. Now you can go to the retinal scanner and continue.
