One of the new improvements that Ubisoft made on Chaos Theory was taking the linearity out of the level design. By not having a certain, direct path to each objective, it can be easy to get lost.
There is, however, a map in your OPSAT you can access by hitting the back button on your Xbox controller. This map comes in VERY handy, especially in the more open ended levels. The section you are in is highlighted, and your objective(s) is/are marked with a red square. Also, hitting the left/right triggers show which sections connect to which, thus allowing you to plan out your route. If/when you get a little lost in the game, before you post a thread asking where you need to go next, first try using the map. The first 2 Splinter Cells had useless maps, but Chaos Theory's map not only is useful, but extremely helpful. Also, the "Goals" tab in your OPSAT can give a bit more detailed description on how to handle your primary objectives. These 2 things will come in very handy throughout the game, especially in the later levels. If you try to decipher where to go with the map, but to no avail, then someone in the forums may be able to help you out. Trust me, though. When you get accustomed to using the map, it will be your best friend One more quick side note: Whenever you access your OPSAT, the action in the game will still go on, so it would be a good idea to be somewhere safe and dark beforehand. Good luck and happy gaming. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Terrax213, |

Yes, with the addition of alternate paths it can become very confusing on where to go next. Regardless of how many times you've played a mission.

I dont know how to reach the forecastle, or use that **** pump.. I have already looked at the map, but i still dont know..

On the Cargo ship level, of course.

theres a man working on a console connected to the pump, just take him out and use the console. When looking for a computer u can always use your E.M.V. vision mode to find it. And what do you mean by 'forecastle', do you mean the extraction point?

You mean that thing that looks like a saw?
|
||||
|
saw, what saw?
Go to the very top of the ship and move towards the nose of the boat, if u go as far forward as you can there is a path on the left that leads to a ladder, if you climb down this and move along the walkway and up another ladder you can be extracted. There is a weapons crate that you can put a tracer on below the walkway, u can climb back no to the walkway by a ladder. |

There are two openings into two different silo's.
To get down to the silo's entrances you have to climb down a ladder, ths first silo you come across we'll call Alpha and the next silo you come across if you carry on round the trenches we'll call Beta. When you reach Beta one of the walls is lower than the other's. If you both climb onto this then one of you can rappel the other down the silo. When they reach the bottom there'll be a switch next to a door, press this and rappel back up the silo wall, careful not to get shot while doing so. Once your both back up on the surface you need to head back over to silo Alpha, again there is a platform like edge to the silo. Climb onto this and press the switch, a lift will come up the silo towards you. One of you jump on and have the other press the switch to descend. The player who pressed the switch will have to jump onto the decending lift quickly before it goes so low that he will hurt themselves from the fall. Once you reach the bottom proceed through the open doorway with light streaming through it and continue with the level..... |

Hey, new to the Board. I am on the level where you are in the Manhattan Garment District. I have finished all objectives and am trying to go to the extraction point in the elevator. I have gone into the elevator as instructed under goals in Zherkezhi's living room in the penthouse. I have killed everyone and I figure out what I need to next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
