I'm upoading the Palace in Kinshasa part 3. I've successfully completed it with no distractions or used any equipment. Its going up on filefront again. Its moving quite quick, probably just over an hour or so.Wink

I'm trying to get it down to two distractions. Theres three at the moment and the first guard notices Emile's gone, but that is impossible to get Emile isolated, and even then they notice he's missing or can hear him collapse.
The guard that enters with him leaves, right? So if you wait until he's gone and drag him out to the end of the walkway where it's dark and take him out while the guard below is across the way, then they shouldn't hear him drop... but if you do that do you get a "body found" in the stats(leaving him there)? To avoid the "body found" I suppose you have to leave him in the "ladder" room. I haven't had the chance to check it out yet.

And BTW, interesting path you took to save Hisham. I just wish the vid started from the time you exit the chopper to see how you handled the "executioner". I'm assuming you wait for him to head left before you move out?

The first guard wasn't really problem. I was more concerened in attempting to get rid of a sound emitter distraction, the one for the guard on top. I don't think when i KO Emile the guard notices him being dropped. For some reason it is only when you scan his retina and then drop him they hear something.

The timing is tight if you were to eliminate that sound emitter. You can easily get rid of the two guards close together. But once they turn around and the guard on top is facing the other way, you then have to worry about the guard o the lower floor because he comes back just as the top guard turns away from you.

As for the Palace, what way do you go? There are about 5 ways to get to him, i think? The right outside route>via the fern, My way, straight through the middle lol, outside left route the scaffolding and left route>via door>cut glass to fern. Althrough the outside scaffolding one may not be one as i havn't done it in ages.

I didn't start from the chooper because there was a glitch or a bug. There was a guard just crouching-sitting there looking at me, then there was the checkpoint. He didn't shoot or move out of the way so i knocked him lol.

As for the execution i honestly can't remember. I'm on Kinshasa as we speak, part 1. I'll let you know!Wink

I've also got a cool video i'll post in another discussion. Its a challenge. Its for the meeting room. I'll post the video to show you guys that i can do. It'll be up to you to figure it out.Wink Won't say anymore.

EDIT:

Palace: I haven't gone into too much exploration, though for the executioner you can either leave him or wait for the guard to stand behind the hostage and stickyshock him. After that its the same, unless i get a body found, but i've got bodies all over Kinshasa unhidden so i wouldn't know.

I've also posted that video challenge.Wink

I usually use one distraction to get the 'executioner' to head for the alley on the right side, then I go under the scaffolding (what you called 'via door') inside/cut glass, etc.

It is one but a challenge to get in the perfect spot to jump up without the guard there hearing you, then I usually climbed down the inside scaffold to cut the glass anyway!

By "leave him" do you mean slip past him? Does using your route require eliminating him?

So you didn't go for full stealth then? In my Kinshasha run I only KO'ed the two so I could save the hostages and hid them inside the doorway near the hanging laundry (keeps from getting 2 bodies found), and depending on how tired I am by the time I get to Hisham I may KO/hide the one that patrols into the left area by the fern. If I'm up to it I wait for his route to cycle out and then free Hisham, then on to extraction. By that time there's not even a guard in the alley to worry about...

I started using the smoke 'nades as it was kind of fun to hear the guard's reactions, not to mention making it a lot easier!

The only reason i ran through Kinshasa was to get to the Palace. I did a good speed run actually, if you miss 'saving the hostages' and 'saving the woman in the bus'. If i was to do it normally, the two i'd KO are the hostage guards. I think i might do the whole Kinshasa mission now.

Anyway, my route, you don't need to touch anybody. I just left the execution and proceeded through the door.

That glass cutting route is pretty fun. I'll have to see if i can do it full stealth with the one distraction of the executioner. And i'll have to redo the scaffolding bit. Havn't done it in ages.Wink And i'll try the smoke grenades.

BTW i'm going overseas on Thursday and i wont be back for10-14 days, so don't expect any videos lol.Wink

That would be fun, unless it's as a soldier... boom! Neway, safe journey to ya and thanks for the great info. That stinkin' final room drove me nuts!

Thanks, i'm sure it'll be a great trip. All my cousins are coming and we will, no doubt, be getting up to mishief.

No, probs insanity. It won't be my last video. I think i will do all Kinshasa when i get back and maybe Shanghai, as they're great missions.Wink

Took me a while to get around to trying trying your method out and I found that if you hold the LT and shoulder Emile b4 you set him down they won't hear him drop, just an FYI.

My problem in a nutshell that I was hoping this would solve was the "1 body found". After a dozen tries I finally got the timing down and was able to do it several times without alerting the guards - however - once I finished the bonus mission it still showed 1 body found! Aaarrrggh! I have no idea what I'm doing that could be causing it, as I did the final room exactly as in your video.

I thought it might be on the bonus mission, but if I load it via the "Mission" selection rather than the "Progress" I get a 100% and no body found.

Any ideas? Hints? Tips?
