I made a sketchy, rushed video of SCDA's first mission for those who can't achieve 100%. Its played straight through on hard ofcourse.Wink
So here it is:

Iceland

If you like a specific mission, just let me know. I won't be doing any of the JBA missions, only specific parts if you like. And i'm never doing the Russian Supertanker mission!lol

Good work! I can tell peepz how to do it all day long but some just have to see how it's done to finally get it.

And on that note, at one time you said you'd do a vid of the final room with Emile, four guards and the bomb. I'd really like to see that one in action!

And yeah, the supertanker one would end up way too large. You'd have to break it into small chunks. Of course the only parts we'd want would be the "Ice Wall", taking out the crew where you first climb on, and then the three where one's in the crow's nest. Some might want the Captain part, but that ones easier than it looks...

Thanks. Yes i'll eventually do the final room with Emile lol. I'll work on it during the next couple of days. I'll have to play around with it as i haven't played DA in a while.

The main reason i wasn't going to do the supertanker was because i hated that mission lol. Though now i think about it, i might just do very specific parts.Wink

Nice stuff. You took an efficient route through the second area.

You could have left the mini map on so we could see how many lights went red - I'm guessing the guard near the ladder in the spot light area would have gone red.

And, I'd forgotten how poor the hacking is in the 360 version Eek

I was rough as i said, though all the guards would have remained yellow however the guard nearest to that small ladder may have gone red because if you listen carefully he makes a sound though no evidence of them both knowing i'm their.

I can't remember, but i'm sure that i can get into that area, spotlight, so i don't have to wait for it. So i keep moving non stop. I'll have to work on it.

Also see if you can jump onto that little roof after the rapell to get past that guard silent and quick without him noticing.

I've also got an update on the final room with Emile. I've been able to complete the area with a couple of saves and 3 distractions caused by me. There is, i think, 2 maybe 3 bits where a guard hears me. Only due to me KO'ing/killing Emile, though its not major, and for some reason i get a chime when i'm disabling the bomb. Possibly the guard above. This is of course on hard.

I'll keep trying and hopefully whip up the final flick soon.Wink

I remember that guard's comments very well - I was never sure if I was spotted or not.

I also noticed the jump on to the little roof - very smart.

Was there anything to collect in the hut where the gate switch is? I can't remember if there is but you've avoided that bit altogether.

I no longer have the 360 version (traded it for the XBOX version) so I have to watch all these movies to remind me of the game.

Oh SNAP!! I NEVER even knew about cutting that line to cut off the electrical gate (at 2:40 in your vid, not the first gate obviously lol). I've managed getting 100% while opening the gate via the computer in that little shack and sneaking by both guards (though more often than not they get suspicious and I get docked for the 'mystery' alert triggered), but your way looks like it should be a lock every time.

Thanks for uploading it Thumbs Up

Oh and if you could do part 3 of Kinshasa that'd be cool Big Grin I haven't been able to work out a way of saving Hisham without being spotted. I can get to him without being seen fine, just getting him out undetected ...

One very simple way is (from the cover of the tree to his right) to toss a smoke 'nade behind and in some cases, in front of him, then free him and head back through the opening past the tree and down the alley to extraction. If you haven't alerted the guards to this point it works every time!

Good idea lol. I didn't think about smoke, which I have to use to get past that fighting bit shortly before the truck you can ride underneath.

Next time I play it I'll give it a try. Thanks!

NP, nice thing about it is that you can pick up 3 smoke 'nades just b4 you enter this area at the end of the trench.

@ Stealthy_U:
Could you upload the files to Google video or filefront? I have fits with YouTube and the others let you d/l the files in their original format..

@ WarriorOfLight: yeah sure i'll try it out and see how i go.Wink

@ mrsmr2: You can avoid that HUB because it only opens the gate. Nothing much else.

@ insanity: No probs. lol. That line is very helpful. I'll be happy to do Kishasa. That part shouldn't take long. I believe i can do it without a smoke grenade and no distractions. Last time i played it i half did.Wink

I've been asleep so no movement on the final room. I'll keep at it. Thumbs Up

So I found out last night haha. It's amazing how easy it is to avoid bothering those 2 guards when you cut the line Truce Now I can get a 100 on that one without worrying "will the game screw me over?"

Well done. lol. Still want the video? I havn't made it yet because i think i've found a very easy way for the final room. 1 KO (Emile) and 3 distractions caused by the sound emitter and one "Hey, where did you go" when i grab Emile. I've been trying to do it straight through perfect and nearly got. I'll try and upload the finished clip this weekend sometime. I'll see how i go.Wink

Sweeet, looking forward to it. I've been able to go full stealth on every mission/section (except for saving the hostages on Kinshasa and saving Hisham - 1 shot, and on Shanghai killing Asw1p3), and really want to get that section stealthed.

BTW, be sure to upload one to filefront or google video so I can d/l it...

Done fellas! Big Grin Again its a tad rushed as i've got other stuff to do...like homework. See how much i'm dedicated to you guys, lol. Anyway i'll walk you through it roughly as there are some precise movements.

When you blow your whistle, be sure your bottom left light isn't yellow or if your too close to the glass as Emile will see you.

Slow movements, as everyone has sharp ears. That goes for this whole bit.

When you exit the first doorway, take your time as the guard on the lower floor that comes out behind the pole/support keeps his head turned left so he will see you.

When you get to the bit where you stand up there are a couple of things:

Try and get in the correct spot before you stand up, otherwise it'll be hard for you to get it the right spot.
Don't move around much when standing for obvious reasons.
Also you can not jump onto the middle support until the guard closest is a good distance away. I've just counted 7 seconds from the moment he turns around on the countdown timer, then jump.

When i've used the sound emitter, i've got it under the two sttel pipes so the guards walk most of the way around. Then as soon as the emitter has recharged itself, point it behind where ever the top guard is, as he likes to move.Wink

Lastly, you have to disable the bomb before the two guards come back and see a glimpse of you, ie: "What is that?", otherwise you will fail the mission even if you do disable the bomb in time.

Also you can scan Emiles retina, infact it would be better if you did because you then don't have to wait around as long for the guard on the lower floor to move further enough to the left. Either way it doesn't matter. I just couldn't be bothered.

I'm uploading it now.

Yes on google, right now and on youtube aswell later. So as soon as its done i'll post it so don't sweat lol.

EDIT: I've changed it to filefront front as google didn't work. It fininshed then said page could not be found or something. Filefronts got about another 35-40 mins left. Not long now.Wink

Thanks lol. I though ti played better on filefront. It takes longer to load itself on filefront than youtube (not by much) but in the end filefront is better quality, and you can download it.

I'm trying to get it down to two distractions. Theres three at the moment and the first guard notices Emile's gone, but that is impossible to get Emile isolated, and even then they notice he's missing or can hear him collapse.Wink
