Everytime I try and drop off the pipe the soldier always hears me... turns and shoots.

How do I drop off the pipe without him hearing me. I even tried to get off all the way at the end and he still hears me.

Any advice?

You have turned on the pumps and the door in the room with the pumps dosen't open for you? I don't think there is anything else you have to do in ts been a while since I played that level. You do not go back the way you came.

Yeah, it's a hard level, but I just got through, I shot everyone of them, and it didn't even took that much time, I just got myself in a position where it was hard for them to shoot me, and where I could easyly shoot them... but it's impossible to pass the next mission, I need to find the bombs that Shetland set in the next room (the furnace room), and I just can't find them!? Where exactly are they anyway??...

Is Dvorak's keeper helping? If not talk to him until he does. He will do one side. Then slow down. You need to wait until the tower glows in the middle before you hit your interact button. I was going too fast at first too.
