i cannot get onto the roof to help Jamie. I have gone through the broken window and up the red pipe, but when I shimmy round to the left, I just keep slipping off the ledge. I can't go right coz there isn't anywhere to pull up onto.
Any help most appreciated, thanx alan

It may be a bug that is prevalent in the PC version of the game... The PC version is a very buggy port of the console version.

Neway, there's a similar post HERE that has a few tips (from 2006).

One thing I noticed in the thread is that unlike the console, to 'lift' up from a ledge you don't push the 'forward' but instead use the 'jump' button? Check out the thread above and let us know if you get it worked out. You may just have to ask someone for a gamesave at the point where you've just pulled yourself up.

Thanks for that, and the link. I don't like using cheats, kinda defeats the object of buying the game in the first place!!!
But if any one has a save point for on the roof I would appreciate it, and info on how to use. I would like to try and get a bit further into the game before I discard it too the bin!!!
